Pass required for Park at bogus?

Who should I go to for this? I talked to a ski patrol and a lifty but they didn't know anything about it. I guess at the ticket place?
 
at deer valley. i think they have a liftie job open so i might try to get that. if not, hopefully i can take some classes or something next semester
 
EVERYONE has to get it apparently, i asked them today. Even out of town people do too. IMO if they want to do park, have them sign a paper when they get a pass some waver or something that allows them to use park if wanted!

but seriously, i probably wouldn't hit the park even if they had shit set up. i can ski park all i want at pc, but bogus has that fun shit
 
Its obvious though that they don't have money to cover for insurance for the park so they have to do this to compensate for idiots going into the park.

whoever came up with the park pass idea for bogus is a moron. it makes sense for mtns that have legit parks (i.e. kirkwood, squaw, etc), but bogus doesn't even come close. most places with legit parks don't even have park passes (i.e. anywhere in CO and UT).

there are many other alternatives to avoid getting sued for people getting injured if this is an issue.

if money is an issue, then the problem isn't with getting sued, it's the management not being able to handle these situations and not generating new, innovative ideas to increase income. the only outlying factor that could prevent bogus from making money is lack of snow, which obviously isn't an issue this year.

now we all get to rock sweet day tickets with our names on them all season! cool!

next thing we know, bogus will disallow baggy gear because it's "gang related attire." lol

I actually like the idea of the park pass. I don't know how many times I've gotten all pissed off when some dad or mom decides to take their 3 and 4 year old and ski halfway up the lips of the jumps. Now they will get stopped at the top and these kind of problems will be eliminated. Don't really see why I should get all pissed about watching a stupid little video. I had to do that before I drove a go-cart the other day. no big deal
 
it's a 40-footer now, but when they first built it it was upper 40's. that picture's from the first day the jumps were open
 
i agree with steven completely haha....bogus having park passes will not solve anything because the kids that climb up the lip im sure are perfectly capable of watching a video and bogus ski patrol may very well say that were being mean to beginners that are trying to learn or make some ridiculous rule, which brings me to something else, can any of the ski patrollers actually skiers?
