Partying parents??

so today was guna be such an awesome day i made plans with a bunch of friends 2 of em are coming from different states n shit but my mom had to go out and party last night until 3 am!!! and i think its oh yea 1:35 pm now shes not waking up my Saturday is ruined not to mention my torn acl hurts now more than yesterday i was guna stay in pc last night but my dad was out partying too who knows where my question is do your parents party that late at night sometimes still?? lets hear some stories...
 
How is your weekend ruined, were they driving you or something?

My parents don't. That shit is retarded, I mean it wouldn't be that bad if parents did it like very now and then, but if they do it a lot it's just irresponsible.
 
thats pretty wierd, my parents and all my friends parents 'party' all the time, by party i mean get shit faced with their friends at dinner parties and stuff, but even then they are always back by like 1 at the very latest and up by 10am.
 
^ i recently moved 45 min away from my friends and go to school there (pc) over the summer so idk anyone around here yet kinda sux.
 
it sounds like you need your parents to go chill with these people. are you not old enough to go out alone?
 
im a 15 yr old 16 this yr too lazy to study for my permit maybe i should do that today only ns exists and the freerider 2 game is addicting haha
 
my parents hang out with alot of wayy young people (like 20-30) so they party every so often...sometimes its like i have to be the responsible one
 
my parents (especially my dad) like to get their drink on hahah. this summer i got to the house on the vineyard to find my mom and all her friends totally wastey-face on the beach with a bonfire. it was really weird.
 
lol SHANE is officially the wisest one here. I kno what you men though, same story different person. Minus the tendon tearing, that shit sucks
 
My mom likes to go out dancing Friday + Saturday nights, I find it's pretty chill...as long as she doesn't go to the same place as I do...that'd be akward.
 
my dad used to be a pretty crazy party person. he would go up to my mountain, party all night, find a place to sleep then ski. nowadays he just drinks with his buddies, not party but just get shit faced. my mom, i don't know if she has even been to a party. i don't know how her and my dad even met, she is so uptight and boring. and my dad is the complete opposite...
 
My parents occasionally go out with their friends and get completely smashed and then say "what we did last night was really stupid, don't ever get that drunk and then drive back...like we did"

And then there was the time I caught them smoking weed but they stashed it right before I came into the room, so I walked around and made pointless conversation for an awkward length of time...then when I left I went around the corner and listened, and my mom said "SHIT, he totally knows, we're soooooooo busted!" 

It was the funniest thing ever...
 
licenses are good. ns is good too. my folks don't party and if they do they don't drink. dad takes my mom out on dates on weekends but they are back by 9, 10 at the latest so i can leave and chill with my friends. i bet you can make friends in pc, there are lots of people in pc.
 
my girlfriend's dad took $20 from my girlfriend tonight teaching her to play poker and he's using it to go get drunk
 
my parents smoke and get hammered and drive a lot. they are hypocrits but whatever, my dads rich so i cant really give them shit for doing what they want.
 
I come from a small farm town and when our parents do party it is usually with us(were 20 now) but its wierd to go to the bar/party (indoor hockey rink with a live band) and see your best friends parents or even worse your parents and be completely shit faced. Oh we are in Canada so we are legal to drink, but still its wierd sometimes.
 
My parents dont go out too party but their pretty old now. My dad usually gets smashed every weekend in summer at our cabin, I'm usually right next to him. It's chill, being drunk with your dad you learn tons.
 
A girl brought her parents to a house party when I was in college and we shotgunned beers and took shotskis with them.

I see her about 4 or 5 times a year when I go out and I always remind her about the time I got wasted with her dad. She hates me because that's literally the only thing I know about her

As a parent I can say they probably drink as a result of their disappointment in their children. It was a lot of effort to get to this point if it’s not turning out great it can be a lot to process
