Partying at ski camps?

I'm going to mount hood summer ski camp, which I'm guessing would have less partying then the crunkfests of windels and CoC, but what is the partying situation like? Should I expect sess and booze or is it something that just is hard to acquire? Just curious, personally I'd rather not feel like shit in the morning for skiing, but I'm wondering if its there for those who have gone to ski camps frequently.

Last day of each session is a party just be friendly with the staff and they dont mind if you sneak off into the woods and blaze or drink or anything some staff might even hook you up with stuff...
MSSHC is the shit

hm. Yeah I'd guess that theres dire consequences, but shit always happens anyways I would think, based on my experience on camp in France, where councilors smoked more hash then the kids. It was crazy, but thats france, drinking age lower etc.

When i was at HN, i couldnt blaze due to parents drug testing, but everyone i was with was blazing hard everyday all day and drinking too if they felt like it, i stayed up til like 4 am and drank the last night though with some random people from camp ha twas fun.

I wouldnt expect it, it's a huge liability if some 15 year old gets too drunk and causes a ruckus, word gets out to parents, camp gets in tonnes of shit.

I mean if youre 18/19 in whistler I guess you can find a way to get properly wasted but I wouldnt be so sure at mt. hood.

dude your going up to camp for a session why don't you just buck the fuck up and train hard and get better instead of partying your ass off cause your away from your parents. get to bed early and utilize the camp for what it is and not just another excuse to party cause you can always do that at home or when the session is over.

At MHSSC you can defiantly get away with anything- smoking, drinking, and on the last night partying - all the staff there is super chill and the most that would happen is they just tell you to go to bed the only thing that camp is strict about is waking up at 5 in the morning

also if you ever get into any trouble and your a skier malone will help you out

i cant speak for hood but whistler(HN) all we did was part/ you could smoke whenever like on the way up or down if you were careful and same in the village. drinking was easy as hell to cuz a lot of people will buy you stuff. and on the last night we saw bishop and the diggers and they were chill as fuck

yeah whoops misread it. but still if your forking up a grand to go to camp why fuckin go out and party every night instead of goin to bead early and training hard.

I went there last week, but I stayed off the camp but from what I heard its super easy to get bud and do whatever out there. The camp is out in the middle of nowhere so you could go back in the woods and get away with murder i guess.

From my experience all of these people talking about partying at ski camp are full of shit. Your not going to get away with staying out till early morning drinkin 40s, but yeah you could easily find some bud and smoke it in the woods. And when i went two years ago my counciler was an ass and made us be in the room by 1030 or we got in trouble (which we did). But yea the race girls at mhssc are usually pretty abundant.

jk partying can be fucking tiring at these camps. if your at mhssc it won't be as much of a party like you'd have in whistler but you still shouldn't have a problem finding dank or booze. live it up on the last night of camp, but otherwise just try not to tire yourself too much the fuck out so you can't shred hard the nxt day

you are a huge fucktard if you party at any other point other then the last night of your session

sack up and have your shit together everyday or your wasting your time and money

There is no partying at our camp. Absolutely not. If anyone is caught partying or in any way having fun they will be locked in a dungeon for the remainder of the summer. That goes for our coaches and diggers too. I can smell alcohol from 7.4 kilometers away, and I will personally hunt down any offenders and force them to drink our rail paneling paint and stand on their heads until their ears leak green. Also, if you are out late we will lock the doors of the hotel and you will have to go sleep in the park with the 2 bums who live in Whistler. They both smell like cheese and booze and rotting gums, and they like to cuddle young campers.

Some people like to go to summer camp to get better, not just get fucked up.

I know that when I'm actually trying to progress and get something done, there is no way I'm going to go party the night before.

we defnitily partyed at mt. hood summer ski camp when I was there, although that was like 7 years ago now...

yeah were not racers but it doesn't mean we can't go out and train hard like they do. If you want to get better you have to work at it, it doesn't just come to you. but the beauty of our sport is that you can relax and have fun and party and shit. Going out early, training, going to the gym and working hard is what separates the pros from everybody else.

i bet we can all agree on this......

train hard all week, dont get trashed, and progress ........

then on friday get fucked up
