Party Life at U of U?

First, searchbar. There has to be a ton of threads on this. Second, to answer your question, it has a mix of rager and mellow weekends. Last weekend I went to big parties both nights, the weekend before I just hung out with a few buddies casually. I dont mind that though. Winter tends to be more mellow if your friends are serious skiers because they are mostly either away traveling or dont want to ski hungover.

but the alcohol content is a joke. seriously go to reno or sierra nv college and really learn how to party and ski where there is actually alcohol in beer and the bars never close because thats just how awesome nevada is
 
Hahah the second part is false, but you're right when it comes to larger universities. I hear U of U is a blast.
 
i havent heard of a single person having trouble getting drunk off the beer, and the liquor stores are the same as anywhere else. But back to the question at hand, its fun. I have never had a weekend where I wanted to party and couldnt. The parties arent as "open" as they are at other universities (there isnt like one street that everyone parties on every weekend) but there is always something going on
 
What Cretin said, the parties last week were incredible and I had a blast both nights. Some people argue the beer is a lower alcohol content but 1. That wouldn't matter if you want hard alcohol and 2. Thats not even true, the beer just tastes worse. The parties are fun as shit and so is the skiing. It's a blast. Come
