anyone got any tips on getting interviews or like calls back. Ive been applyin all over and not getting shit back. Is there like a secret way of gettin them to employ you?
 
Legit just try and stand out from everyone else but in a good way be friendly seem interested and attentive and dont be an idiot you should be good mang
 
all i had to do was walk in.
But I was pretty lucky, now i just make pizzas smoke pot with my boss after work
 
part time jobs are generally harder to get than FT which sucks, depending on job of course. you have to be a perfect person, almost to the point of being an asshole. unless they specifically set a time period dont play on the part time thing. show up for a full time job interview. make it seem like this job will be supporting a family of 10 with 5 cars and college debt for all 8 of your children.
 
dress nice for the interview, research the company and have a response ready for why you want to work there. be enthusiastic.
 
persistence
call them on a regular basis, let them know you are still interested in the position. once a position opens up you will be in the front of their mind. it also shows you really want this job
don't be modest when telling them what separates you from the rest
 
i work at a grocery store :D
the turnover rate is pretty high at them, just get there at the right time. if you call once a week then you are bound to get lucky eventually
