I am coming into town for a few days this weekend and was wondering what ski area has the best park around the Twin Cities. I prefer bigger jumps, but I don't mind rails too. Any help would be great.

well for big jumps spirit mountain in duluth but thats a drive from the cities like 2 and a half hours or so......but hyland is your best bet real nice place though is prolly busy over the hollidays here

If you want rails go to Afton, they have a cbox and rail, rainbow box and rail, down rail, flat rail, flat to down box, trap box, other flat boxes and flat rails in their other parks. They also have a 20' or 30' table top and 2 or 3 15- 20' tables!!!

i dont know about that. i think its a tie really.

also how is it up there i am thinking of heading up this weekend.

its really nice the jump line is perfect u carry as much speed as u can through it, and they have a lot of the rails up and showtime at the bottom and the pipe is really nice. i think hyland is more fun cuase its like new stuff and the runs are so fast

the rope tow is so nice but the jump line at spirit is just so much fun. its way less crowded there usually which is a big plus. i have never really been to hyland while people were in school though. ahhhhh icant decide

havent been to spirit this year but speed hasnt been really an issue for me in the past...i want to go to spirit like right now

drew i will go with you and just hike, i will probably pass out from all of the hiking though, it will be worth it
