Parkas?

you mean parkas as in large, heavy jackets with fur lined hoods? Well this should really be in 'SKI EQUIPMENT' instead of media and arts. I guess parka making is an art though so ok. Anyway, as much as I liek the look of parkas, i think a lighter, shell/core insulated jacket is better for all but the coldest -35 celsius conditions. Parkas are really heavy and you can't really be comfortable in them if it is kinda warm out

no i am talking about the heavy fur lined parkas, ya sorry i guess it should be in skie equipment. my bad. but ya i was jsut wondering like style wise and stuff.

ive got a down jacket which is similar. its a thick sessions down.

they are great when its like -20 or below..

i use a normal coat for all other conditions and just layer accordinly.

I think they look cool, but they are too heavy for most days, unless you ski on Ellesmere or Baffin Island or something most of the time.
