Park Updates: Alberta

holy fuck that was insane on the s rail 5050 then 3 out holy shit, i i hit that thing like 20 times and only got to the end once

I agree, the 50-50 looked amazing, don't think I've ever seen that before. Good looking park! Hopefully I can get out there soon.

it was a pow night at cop last night. solid 10cm everywhere with 15-20 in some spots where the wind was blowing. just sayin, cop pow days are epic. Couldnt hit bigs but the other jumps where all super soft and awesome.

I think its the 15th of april. Thats when night cat shifts stop, so im assuming around that time ( weather permitting of course).

451818.jpeg Well not sure if its just going to be here for a bit or if its going to be here for the rest of the season but i'm beyond stoked right now.

Yea there still trying to figure out where to put it. Talked to some of my friends on park crew few days ago and there thinking of taking all the rails out of the bottom of the proline and putting it there. But there not sure when hopefully they do get it in this season cause I definitely wanna try some dumb shit on it.

Couple days late, but who was at the last night park at Norquay last saturday? Some dirty skier vs boarder trains on the jump line went down.

Parks pretty decent, havn't checked it out in about a week though. All the rails at bottom of proline are gone and they have built a jump n deck for the airbag. Had it up last Saturday think its coming up again this next weekend not sure though. The Juniper Jungle main park they switched the 3 medium/small jumps into 2 larges I guess and reshaped the hip but I haven't checked it yet. All in all very slushy spring conditions but still a lot of fun to be had still all over the mountain.

Couple of weeks late, but that was one of the funnest night riding sesh's ever. So many crazy trains with some ridiculous tricks.

Lake Louise is alright, not many rail features, still lots of jumps, but it's absolute slush and it's super hard to land or get speed.

Still better than Sunshine, they put the big jumps in the flattest part of the park this year, meaning you can barely clear the only decent sized jumps there which are still only like 30 feet. Rails are pretty fun though but jumps are terrible. Good news is Louise is staying open an extra week, will get a week of good park laps there before shine till the end of the month

Ughh wish I skied today powder looked great was to hungover oops. Still dumping right now so tomorrow should be good. Louise is staying open for a bonus weekend they will be closed Monday to Thursday next week.

Lake Louise bought that BagJump. No more renting means it will be up whenever they feel like it.

Anyone know why after two years of renting and testing the Katal Bag they went with the BagJump?

The should have bought the Katal bag, it makes so much more sense fo land on a downslope of a bag and not stop dead. stupid purcahse i think

I heard Louise took down the big park for Ruckus in the Rockies and have just a small park now? Anyone know whats up in it?

heard it wasn't great right now, but they're still in the process of getting the big park up, pretty stoked to hit up louise next weekend

As of this weekend they had their progression park and Juniper Jungle line up, some boxes to the right while going up the chair and a few smaller jumps with a cannon and a down rail in the Juniper line. Got icy real fast when I was there on Saturday, the cats were doing alot of work on the xl line where they always have the stepdown to stepover, super excited for that.
