lots of building going on and for the next few nights, look for almost everything to be up by the end of this weekend. here is a pic of slope style building last night, 2nd jump on slope was built to big distance wise and will be shortened tonight.

why dont we get a full AIR CHAMBER going?

or perhaps more then 2 jumps an one rail...

bachelor was suppose to be way better this year.

you must be keepin the money that you dont

spend on cats building, or making jumps, or building features

because i know thats how bachelors worked in the past ha

and its not just me who thinks so. bachelor is gay as aides

right now.. flat out. hopefully this will spark something because

theres kids who want to throw down and ride DECENT parks

please stop bitching. Meadows hasnt had take off for their tables for the past two weeks. Try riding a park with just rollers and the day you finally think they have ALL their tables set up for real, they have two with lips and theyre closed for a competition all day. So why not just hit the rails all day right? Funny thing, since everysingle person on the meadows park crew sucks ass at everything, they have 3 set up on the entire mountain. why not ride the pipe? If you want any powder runs the pipe is the place to do it with the nice accumulation of snow they have at the bottom and along the sides. Be happy your mountain's park director is actively involved in the skiing world and takes the time to share with all of us whats going on at the mountain. For those of us at the lovely Mt Hood Meadows we would all love for someone to take the time to actually care about what we think.... But as long as the tourists keep buying the $64 day passes, who gives a shit about the park?
 
Ya Meadows has no jumps, just tons of rollers. By the end of the season I should be a master of the hand-drag and box rails.
 
^^^^ you up there stfu and stop whining and bethankful you dont ahve to ski mt hood meadows, the dusty icecube with no park to speak of. ever. they have this big fancy pipe carver thing too but the never carve the pipe. it fucking blows. no new snow in the last few days but we still only have some rollers and the most retartedly set up features ever.
 
uh, in case you haven't noticed, oregon has received 400-to almost 500 inches in some resorts this year....you ever built a backcountry jump and had it snow 4ft on top of it...the shits gone for good. try and build a park and have tens of feet fall on it,nearly impossible to keep going.

the reason places like breckenridge, park city, and aspen keep great parks....they don't get nearly the snow we get and thus they can maintain the parks...when they do get a foot or two, the shits dry and blows off...not here in oregon, the snow sticks and buries shit.

we have seen glimpses of what hames is trying to do, but we are having an all time powder year ya fucks....ski some pow and wait for spring.

in case all of you have forgotten, mt. bachelor has one of the longest seasons in the US and we just broke the half way mark to get there. be patient.
 
Yes I agree with you, it snowed a lot this year and I know that makes it hard to shape jumps and dig out features, but having ZERO jumps on the entire mountain is unacceptable.
 
i understand its hard to keep stuff up with the snow dumping but whats the park crew do when its snows? sit on their ass all day? meadows pays these guys for a reason, to build and maintain the parks. When your being paid to do a job, you do it. Its like telling your boss no im not gunna do that cause its too much work, when you pull that shit you get fired. And in the end thats what it comes down to, the park crew getting up out of their nice warming hut to go out and push some jumps together. SO it snows 6 inches overnight, same exact thing, they get up and groom the park. I believe its called, doing their job.
 
meadow's two tables on easy rider are up and pretty nice. looked like they were shaping a step up and ready to add some other cool stuff.
 
ya those two tables are way better now.. the landings are way steeper.. but you have to go all the way up fucking vista if you wanna lap that park. and vista is a typical icefield despite the sunshine

Sterling your sounding like a beeeotch man... realize that to re build shit when its just gonna to continue to snow is just gonna cost more and take away from in spring when shit can go off.
 
you guys need to all shut up about how bad stuff in oregon is. at least you dont HAVE to ski at fuckin hoodoo all year! i fuckin hate hoodoo.. they dedicate no time whatsoever to their park.
 
dude.. mhm is world class compared to the east coast..... but the park crew slacks and the park is only maintained for the weekend rush.  they have had an entire park of rollers for the last 3 weeks.. and there is plenty of snow to build lips on them....
 
hey just think about the end of the season last year at meadows, the had some sweet parks and pipe set up for spring time. and tline has some good parks built up so just go there.
 
I just got back from two days at bachelor and the parks are so sick. Slopestyle has some good tabletops and stepdowns and i-park has 7 tables as well as rails
