Park skis

So my season is over sadly, and what ive learned this year after spending 90% of my time in the park is that progressing my bag of tricks is kind of all I want to do for the forseable future. I rode arvs all season and they're great but I want something more durable and dedicated to park. (everyone says arvs are mad durable bet idk ive kinda beat the shit out of them this season) I understand you can't have it all in one ski but I don't want to completely sacrifice capabilities on groomers and speed stability. Vishnus are sick and on3ps but i've never rode anything but my arvs so i would like some opinions. What are you guys riding in the park?

I have a Faction CT 1.0 and a Prodigy 2.0, both are nice. My CT is detuned to shit for the one day a year I wanna try and slide a rail, and my Prodigy is my jump ski. What are you trying to progress? Jump, rails, swerve? That will dictate the kind of ski you want. A good all-round park ski (not all mountain ski, but park ski) is the Dollo. You can butter them, they’re solid on jumps, and nice on rails. If you wanna swerve and play around mostly on rails, check out the Wet or the Magnus 90. Those aren’t as solid on big jumps as other options (people may argue for the Mag but compared to skis like the Poacher, or ARV 96, they’re not quite as stable due to the massive rocker), but they’re fantastic skis to up your rail game. If you want a jump ski, go for the Poacher. It’s stiffer than most so it’s very solid, but you can still butter it with some effort.

definitely more into progressing on rails, I ski perfect north in indiana my season is like 3 months long so the couple days a week Im able to go i just sesh the mini park. I do some jumps but nowhere near corks or anything like that, so Im not to worried about having a dedicated jump ski. Hows durability on mag and V's? I want a solid ski that can take a beating.

Honestly, stick with the arvs, Ik u want something more durable but as you progress your skiinb will be cleaner and put less damage on the twigs. But if you are really set on getting different skis. Get poachers, they’re like arvs but stiffer stronger and more durable

Might try and stick out next season, but I also made the mistake of getting my arvs mad short ? I feel like Andri spaghetti

I rode ON3P magnus 90s for 2 years, and I liked them a lot. They got too small and had little edge left, so I bought magnus 102s during the COVID spring sale last year, and they were better. I liked the 102 underfoot and a beefier ski, but the ON3P has lost some of its magic for me. I liked being one of the only people with them, and now they are more common than armadas or volkls by me. I’m planning on selling them and buying Vishnu wides next season because that rocker profile and shape is growing on me and they are also a pretty durable ski for less money. I haven’t ever rode arvs, but they seem like an okay ski but if u want better park stuff maybe look at the Bdog or ON3P Magnus, either size honestly.

Lol

I ride arvs and before I I had a pair of magnus 90 i out grew them unfortunately and the arvs will always be one of my favorites just because it’s kinda just like a safe bet you can’t go wrong with it it’s just a good reliable ski

vishnu wet is the best imo, they about 3 seasons before bindings screws start getting loose, the edges are still in good condition, also the top sheet is bombproof and they are a great company ran by great people

It's really a good ski, dont expect miracles from other brands/models ;)

Not dissing the arv at all, I love them. They’re just getting too short for me and starting to think I might want a more dedicated park ski after spending all season in the park
