Park skis that just do it all

Looking for recommendations on park skis that can also take on anything on the mountain when you just play around and have fun, mostly do jumps but often end up going backcountry on the pow days and want a pair that can do both, rode k2 poachers last season but violently destroyed them soo.. looking at maybe getting some surface givers?!

everyone here might jump to on3p jeffreys but i’m not much of a fan of them . i have a friend who rides surface givers at bridger bowl pretty often and they’re stiff enough to deal with it. super fun skis with mid durability.

The current market offers many better options of all mountain skis that can do well in the park.

I have skied a lot of terrain on both my Jeffreys and Mangos and the Jeffs are easily better for literally everything outside of the park and barely worse in the park.

Yeah Jeffery 102 would be sick but it all depends on what split you ride, like 50% park, 50% groomer? 30 groomer, 30 pow, 30 park? Most of ON3P's skis are amazing for this use case because they arn't soft and have a shape that holds in hardpack and floats in pow as well as allows you to have fun in the park as well. The Crushin Cans 102 is more symmetrical than a Jeffery and has a more central mounting position than a Jeffery. That being said, I have some Mango 100's and they are stiffer than the Crushin Cans... Which makes them absolutely fucking tear up the rest of the mountain. Yeah ON3P's cost money, but you can bet your ass they will hold up longer than pretty much any ski out there.

only plus side of on3ps is your sidewalls will not blow up. barely worth the money when the edges come out in sections instead of cracking.

Idk bro that had to be something about the way you treated them because I've put all three pairs of my on3ps thru the wringer, but always took them inside and let them dry. Never had any edge pullouts or cracks, even after snapping the ski. Even that long curved rail that fucked up my ski only bent the edge inward

What about a ski that sits in about the $500 range vs the on3ps costing a leg or arm

Surface givers, k2 reckoner 102, maybe arv 106??, vishnu wide plus, etc.

jeffreys and cans are both superior on durability compared to these if that’s a concern.

skiing park 4 days a week on a tow rope while constantly hitting rails aggressively

magnus 90s lasted me 2 1/2 seasons before they were unskiable on a resort

Moment Wildcat 101. Good for park and straight rippers all over. Moment does a solid off season sale on skiburger.com or you can look around for used demos on sale right now.

Surface uppers are really fun park skis that can also do well all over. They’re not a super soft ski but they have pretty moderate rocker so they’re still pretty easily buttered. 105 underfoot and they do not bad in soft snow. I rode them hard in the park for a season, with no major damage, not even an edge crack. Definitely cheaper then on3ps too. I truly do love these skis

Ive been looking this up for the past little while, J Lev would suggest the J skis vacation. Apparently its supposed to fit right in the middleground between pow and park but I have never ridden a pair so i have no say. Ive seen a ton of people ride the K2 reckoner 102's in the park and pow. (ev_panda on insta crushes the park on some) and those are the ones I am shooting for to be my like "jack of all trades" ski.. and being a reasonable cost.

OP check these boys out. Exactly what you want

Zag 104 Slap. Skied park all last week, Skied a foot of pow on em today. Most versatile ski I've ever ridden. Pretty good in moguls too for a 104.

Its worth it if you ski over a lot of rocks/dirt. I’ve literally landed on rocks and shit barely is even scratched

2nd this ski ^ it’s a beast and I’m broke so it’s functioned as my powder ski and everything else ski all season. Durable as fuck and all around fantastic.

Not tryna hijack this thread but what other companies make 191’s in a park ski other than jeff 102’s cuz I wanna ride 191’s and that seems to be my only option rn

Nomads come in 191. Wildcats can be 190. The wider Revolts have 188 or 191.
