Park skis for big guys

currently looking for a new park ski as an upgrade to my 4 year old shreditor 102s in 191. I’m 6’6 210 so that’s where the issue comes in. 191cm length works but I’d prefer to have a little more length but I haven’t seen any park ski longer than 191. I really did enjoy that ski with the soft flex and lots of rocker so I’ve been looking for a ski similar to that. I also like that waist width so looking for something 95-105 underfoot. Ive been looking at the Icelantic nomads in both 95 and 105 width, anyone have any time on those skis? They also have a 3 year warranty which would be sick. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

At 6'4 225 I feel your pain. I think that 191 is gonna be your best bet.

I'd love to hear people list off some all mountain/freestyle choices that come in longer lengths though, ideally high 190s low 200s

The only one off top is the Faction CT 3 which i believe came in a 204cms last season. It also came in a 192. They were 108 under foot in 2019, but I don't think that should be an issue for you.

I've skied the 204 Candide 3.0 the last 2 seasons and really liked them, though spin weight is really bad so i would consider that if these were to be a park only ski. They are super soft and despite having 35 meter turning radius they're pretty fun for low speed jibbing. I picked up some 191 kartel 108s late last year and was worried about them being too short, but they are actually way more stable then my candides and have a bigger sweet spot when skiing really fast. You can order 191 kartel 96s too if you want skinner waist. Skiing my kartels at the bonezone I didn't notice the wider waist at all.

I'm 6'8 210 btw

Gonna throw a +1 in for Kartel 191s. I'm 6'5 200 and bought them last year in a 108. Loved them last year and I don't expect that to change moving forward.

Are you pretty set on a ski with a softer flex? (I wouldn't describe the Kartel as being anywhere close to soft so just curious). Are you planning to center mount whichever ski you get?

Ya I think I’ll have the best luck sticking with 191, thanks for the advice

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ve heard good things about how they ride but unsure of factions durability, I’ll have to check out those 204s

Good to know about the swing weight on the 204s, and ya I think this will be my everyday ski for most the time, I have jj’s also but they’re just a little wide for me for everyday use. I think that kartel 108 would be the perfect sweetspot.

Definitely not set on a soft flex. This ski will probably be my everyday ski so I should probably look for something a little stiffer for extra control at speed in bigger terrain. And for mounting I’ll probably go -1.5 to -2 from true center because again I’d like to be able to charge all over the hill and it won’t be strictly a park ski. Thanks for the advice about the kartel.
