Park skis for an almost 7 footer?

Hello everyone, my name is Elias. I'm new to the forums but from what I've seen, this is a good place to look for help. I'm 20 years old, and I've been skiing for roughly 10 years. The skis I have right now are Nordica Enforcer 110's. I originally bought these skis not knowing much about different ski types, and I got them because they where twin tips. But after skiing on them for about 2 seasons now, I've realized that they are a good ski, but just being used for the wrong application. Right now I stand at 6'9 and I weight about 230 pounds. I also wear a size 34 boot. I would like to get myself a proper pair of park skis, but at my size, options are slim. I want to be able to do nose butters and tricks of that nature, but everyone I've asked about the subject recommends a stiffer ski to be able to support my height. I also want skis that are lighter and that I can maneuver easily but I don't want to risk breaking them. I usually run a 191, but I've been considering running shorter skis (188, 185) for park just because its harder to swing around skis that long. Good Idea? or no. The skis I'm interested in are:

-Faction Prodigy 2.0 (Too stiff? will center mounting be any issue?)

-ON3P Jeffrey 102 (Ill have to buy them custom made, do I stick with stock flex? or do changes need to be made)

-Atomic Bent Chetler 100 (Technically an all mountain ski, but I've heard that they do well in the park, good option?)

I apologize for all of the questions, but all off my park rat friends are significantly shorter than me, and don't have any answers. Id appreciate the help. Feel free to throw in any other recommendations.

Definitely give [tag=3025]@iggyskier[/tag] at ON3P a call. You would probably get a lot more out of some custom options they offer than just grabbing a stock ski off the shelf.

The Prodigy 2.0 would be a good option. They're on the stiffer side but the rocker profile makes it possible to butter them, especially easier when you have the kind of weight and height you do. As far as ski length goes, it's all personal preference. I know a few taller guys (6'-6'6") who ride something 178-185 and some folks

Keep in mind the flex profile changes quite drastically when a rider is as tall/heavy as he is. A prodigy probably wouldn't feel very stiff to him

your fucked pretty much

some choices are

revolt 104 188cm

prodigy 2.0 189cm

black ops 98 192cm (but really kinda short)

on3p'"186" is longer than most 188-189

menace 98

older CT 1.0 188cm

current CT 2.0 188

chets caaaaaaaaaan work, but honestly your kinda heavy for them, Im 242lbs myself, used to have the bent chet 100s, 188cm

for some weird reason tails are stiffer then fronts on them or it feels like it.

enforcer 110s are a pretty good ski for bigboys for pow & woods btw.

Hit up Michael Jordan to see if he's willing to part ways with his custom ON3Ps. He's only a mere 6'6" so whatever they made for him they may still be short for you OP, but better then some stock 189s.

Try to cop some old 204 faction candides if you want a more proportional ski but really there's not really a mainstream option optimized for your size. I will say don't worry about ski weight, especially after skiing enforcer 110's most any park/freestyle ski will be lighter. It'll be harder finding skis that aren't noodles under your feet.

Revolt 104's tho?

Don’t forget your effective edge. The Prodigy 2.0 was mentioned because of its rocker, but even if you buy the 185 it will ski closer to a 180 because the edges don’t engage with the snow. So if you’re looking for a park ski and only a park ski it doesn’t matter too much, but if you want to use them out of the park at all get something that will actually ski at a 185 or higher. A longer ski with rocker, or a shorter ski with more camber.
