Park Skis For A Taller Guy?

So I'm 6"4, 150-160 lbs (It changes often) This makes it hard to buy park skis since they tend to come in shorter lengths. I'm on the switchblades right now but will be selling them to a friend at the end of the season since they ski to short for me.

So I'm saving up for next season, now I know you can ski stiffer skis at shorter lengths (I've ridden 174 rossignol scratches and it honestly wasn't that bad, would never want to go off anything XL, but for rails it was actually really fun).

Anyway I've tried to lineup possibilites for what to buy next. I ski 90% park if not more. I prefer a ski with lots of flex in the tips and tails since it allows for easier butters and presses, plus it makes skiing outside the park much more interesting. Literally the only time I'm not in the park or trying to film urban, I'm skiing groomers towards the park. On the way I'm going fast trying to carve switch better or side hits. Very occasionally when it dumps I ski tree's or me and some friends will build a jump into pow, nothing massive just for fun.

Here's my options, sorry if the list is long:

Line Chronic (185) - Good all around ski and the length is great but mounting would be difficult, I'd probably go core center. I also don't know much about the flex of this ski.

Line Future Spin (181) - Really interested in this ski, but the length is probably too short. I've researched this ski really like the design. Full camber thats stiff underfoot with softer tips and tails, but again length is the issue.

Atomic Punx (182) - Super well received ski and next years are supposed to be stiffer so it's a possibility, however I don't really know if I'd like that extra stiffness, since I prefer a looser type of ski.

Armada Alpha X (182) - Seems very interesting, with the wider waist and park specific rocker for presses but again the shorter length and rocker make it likely a no go. I know armada measures short to but I don't know exactly how short.

Oh I should note the surface Lab 002 could be an option, but I have no idea what the specs on it are so not a serious option unless I see more info on it.

I would stay away from skis with rocker as they ski alot shorter i think line step ups come in a 184 which is nice

You're right about the rocker thing for sure, which sadly knocks out the Alpha X. Stepups used to be made in a 184 but now they only goto 181 sadly. Right now it's really more of a question if the future spin will work well at my height, otherwise I'd opt for either punx or chronic. Unfortunately it's hard to get feedback on skis that haven't been released yet, which is my fault, considering how preemptive I made this thread.

189 09/10 non-rockered Kung Fujas is the exact ski you're describing (measures 195) - try to find some, they're out there. Best jib ski ever for tall guys. I stopped hitting rails three years ago just so that these would last. Love them.

About Chronic mounting:

I have last season's regular camber model, 183 cm. Mounted 2 cm back from true center and they ski amazing there. Very balanced in park, carve so well, good at skiing switch. Go -2.

The future spin felt light, carved well, and seemed to be a nice ski. I did about 5 runs on them but the snow was to slow to hit any jump but it should be a bomb ski.

apo starsky in a 185. Sidecut dimensions for it is 123-92-116 and its traditional camber. I have them sitting in the box at my mailing address in a 179 length and I got them for $200+shipping from the US. The flex seems like its suppose to be similar to the chronic.

I got them on here actually. I got a really good deal for them tough. I am a little weary on how durability on theses are going to be. This year I ended up delaming both tails and delamed 10 inches up from the nose piece on brand new arv's which not even henrick harlaut hasn't been able to do to his arv's. Maybe I got a lemon. Supposedly apo skis are designed by the guy who created sandwich construction with the rossi scratches. I decided to take a chance with apo. After nine days of sending apo a email trying to pull info from them I have yet to receive a response. Kinda sucks that I can't get info from apo seeing as they are new to the US market and I couldn't find really anything from googleing. I did pm macahoon about his apo rockos and he says that they been holding up well for him but he hasn't taken them into the park at all.

The kastle xx 80 Colby. comes in a 180 full symmetrical.

Also the kastle xx 90 james comes in 185 fully symmetrical.

im 6'1 and i bump 180s so i think you could rock like a 185. the armada arv comes in that but its hella flexi if thats your thing

Everything about this ski cept for the slow base is perfect, but i don't know pricing and I imagine a armada pro model of the guy who threw a nose butter trip is gonna be costly.

I think I'm going to go with the chronics in a 185, mounted -2 from center. They've got the length, a race base, rocker for presses and near symmetrical dimensions. Thanks for the extra input guys, it's hard to find park specific skis for taller people.
