Park Skiing Progression!

Today was the first day up of the year for me. I am trying to get in to park skiing this year, but don't really know where to start. Today I learn a basic 90 degre grind on a fat box, and after a few more tries I was doing 180s out. There are so many other features to learn how to grind on. Skinny boxes, rails, and the big metal "tube" things that I don't know what their called. Anyways what I really want to know, is what should I learn in a sequence of easiest features/tricks to hardest features/ tricks to ensure good progression. so a list of the different types of features I should be learning to grind first, second, third, etc would be great! Thanks.

Start with the wider boxes and work your way to skinnier boxes with variations. once you can get boxes down comfortably, try a "big metal tube thing" and work your way do a skinny rail. Then try some stuff with kinks. Learn to hop on the rail or box from both sides from the beginning.

With jumps, make sure your comfortable doing strait airs. then learn how to spin on the ground and practice spinning from side hits. be able to do rs and ls 1's, then move to ls and rs 3's, 5's, and so on. just commit to anything your trying. be a little ballsy.

If you see someone in the park that seems to know what they're doing, ask them questions. More times than not, to wont be dicks. Everyone's been there.

yea just get comfortable and take it at your own speed. and for jumps, like he said, work on getting your pop and then practice shifties, then 180s and so on. good luck man
