How many people hear only ski in the park when they go skiing, cause personally i think thats not skiing, your a true skier if you can rip it up everywhere

well anyways, i agree. For me atleast skiing is more fun when i mix it up between freestyle and like tech/freesking stuff. Thats just for me i dont really got any beef with people that do other stuff cuz its all about havin fun.

go to the mtns or go home.....ski the whole thing. Fuck the park...I mean its nice and I love pakr and all...but if you can't do anything else then you need to rethink your priorities in skiing.

My home mnt in wisconsin is so small I only do the park but when I go somewhere good I dont even bother finding out where the park is. BC is the best!

It depends on so much where I ski. If I'm at a big resort, I ski all over, but if I'm at my local hill that has 75 feet of vert, I'm gonna hit the park all day. And there are days where you just wanna rip park sometimes even at the big hills.

Just ski for yourself, dont worry about what other people think you should be skiing.

uhh, the skiing outside the park where I live is so bad its not worth it, ive never skied more than 4 inches of pow, but ive probly skied over 3feet of solid ice!

some people live at hills where this is no other skiing. Where I live there are no challenging runs, so whenever i'm here I spend 95% of my time in the park. I agree that there is way more to skiing then the park, and i freeriding, but let people ride how they want to without criticizing them.

yeah, i left ski sundowns lame excuse for a park to ride powder for a yaer, and i was dying to hit a terrain park. i dont see a prob with park rats. i mean, some people just enjoy riding table tops and half pipes instead of powder. i know i do

 
i hope that people realized about waht i siad earlier, alpental has no park, nd that i was saying the mountian is a park, but whatever.

i think htat the people who bitch at other people for only riding park are jealous of the fact that they are to big of pussies to hit the jumps . . . . just ski where you want to ski and dont bitch at other people if you dont like it.

 
Riding park all day is the dumbest fucking thing ever. This year I was in a mogul comp at Sunday River and my friends were ragging on me because I was not skiing park all day, fuckin idiots.

I ride the park about 3/4 of the time. I have been riding all mountain for about 15 years and started jumping and riding pipe for the last 4-5 years so i know I can ride all mountain since thats where I learned. I just ride the park alot so I can learn.

 
if its a powder day, you cant ride park, and probly wouldnt want to. but anythign that isnt fresh snow, i would rather be in a park and pipe

 
i find just plain skiing gets boring realy fast..maybe it's just where i live..but it's not a challeenge or any fun..so i stay in the park

on powder days it's almost impossible to ride the park. Then it's fun to take a tree run, or just hit a black diamond. When there is no fresh snow, it's the park for most of the day, and a few 'back country' runs.

yea let me divide my time up where i ski... or worry about where im doing most of my skiing. Why not just ski wherever you are having the most fun thats what i do anyway some days i end up skiing park some all mountain, it really doesnt matter the only reason you ski is to have fun so as long as that happens who gives a fuck i ski for myself so if i want to be a park rat im goign to be(not that i am)

when the snow is just ice,and it's hot, hit the terrain park, that's cool. Some chicks are bound to stay around with you if you pull a Bio, or Linkin Loop. However, when the snow's good, the terarin parks' out of my mind. The powder's just too tempting. Has anyone ever skiied Silver Basin at Crystal Mountain with three feet of powder? Damn, that was the best run of my life. That's the good stuff.
