Park skiers

i dont know about you guys, but at stowe, there are all these litttle kids, and old people, that stand on the jumps landings, and someones going to get hurt, does anyonce else have this problem?
 
yeah it happens at attitash all the time i hate the little kids and nothing gets done about it we get screamed at by and old lady cuz she was standing on the landing of the jump and someones almost hit her
 
Its a problem at every mt. when i went out west some of the mts put like snow fences blocking the deck so kids couldn't just ski by the kicker and down the landin. it was a pretty good idea
 
i think they should have someone watch who goes in the park, and make sure that old people, and crayy skiers/boarders dont enter, theres no problem if you go off the jump, but standing on the landing is dangerous
 
So im at Loon hittin the jump line in the picked rock park, cuz that was the only one open at the time and i get to the third jump of three and this little girl and her dad are skiing across the jump, and the little girl just stops right behind the jump. so i throw on the brakes hard and just shake my head as i ride by.

now this dickhead asshole guy starts yelling at me telling me not to shake my head, to which i reply "well your daughter probably shouldnt be in the park since she seems like shes just learning how to ski" and hes like "well she paid the same money as you to ski here, and its your responsibility to not hit her since youre coming from above"... so i start to get pissed and i tell him "well i didnt hit your daughter, nor did i go anywhere near her, but she shouldnt be in here, thats like me going and bombing down the bunny slope, i paid the same amount of money as them but im too good/going to fast to be in there"... then the guy starts freaking out hes like "keep running your mouth to me and youll be fucking sorry blah blah blah" and i just give up, because people are just ignorant and arrogant and dont giv e a shit about anything except themselves... as he skis off the mother fucker calls me a jerkoff, all stemming from me politely telling him that his daughter does not belong in a terrain park

i guess you cant win
 
had a similar incident at Killy last year where a little girl skied across the deck as I jumped. My skis missed her helmet by like 2 feet, and the parent flipped out on me. I was pretty shook up by the fact that I almost just killed someone, so while she was getting blue in the face screaming at me, I just said "you're lucky she didn't get killed. Keep her out of here if you don't want her to get hurt." and skied off.
 
I was hitting the rails and the same park at Loon and every single rail I had to stop for a group of kids who just skied right past the rail. Same withe the Jumps.
 
jiminy peak has this thing where in order to get into the park you have to watch a movie and get a park pass. It is gay but it does keep out some people. The movie tells people not to stand in front of the jump or under it, all the stuff that us skiiers worry about. But it does not keep all the people out. We do have a intermediate park which helps alot.
 
I have that problem all the time at Sunday River. Its really bad there sometimes. I understand that everyone paid the same amount to be there and all that ish but at sunday we have smaller progression parks so if you dont know what your doing, just learning or just want to see what they're all about then go there, but access to rocking chair, the upper level park should be limited. Its not fair to the kids who actually use the park to have to deal with and worry about all the dummb asses that ski across the landings, or mess up the lips of the jumps.

Ive started yelling at people from the chair lifts if it looks like someone wants to hit a jump, or ill go up to people and ask them nicely not to stand on the landings because they're going to get hurt... Its rediculous though some of the things that people do. I agree with that thing where people need to watch a video on park edicute and then get a park pass.. I think that would help a lot... not to mention the money from the pass could go towards making the parks better... alright im done ranting now...
 
at wacho its sick cuz now theres no little kids standing on the jumps and in front of all the crap or cutting you off, waterville and loon need to get on that
 
yeah that happens all the time. scariest moment of my life right there... it is no fun to whip around that last 90 degrees to end up facing a 12-yr old snowboarder whose gonna get closelined on the back of the neck by your skis. i honestly thought he was going to die, but he was nice and apologized for standing on the landing.
 
Had a Similar incident. THis faggot snowboarder clan was at Burke and they would stay at the only box all day and film them going on and off. So i went to hit it and i spun and ended up hitting the kid with the cam in the head. He paid for it and i never saw them at the box again.
 
2 years ago i got into an all out fist fight with a 40 year old guy becuase i came about 3 inches from killing his daughter who decided to just sit down on the landing to catch her breath. it was insane the guy came at me swinging. i hit him once then my dad ripped him off of me and put that bitch in his place
 
I gapped some kid at loon today... he was chilling off to the side of the last jump in the park checking the size and thought itd be a good idea to go across the deck while i was coming off the take off..... the same little fucker hit me as i was unstrapping to get on the gondola not even 2 minutes later

i hate stupid people
