Park Ski rentals june 25th 2017 and Marriage Proposal spots and Squaw

Yo team I just got to San Jose from New Zealand

We are skiing at Squaw Vally Tahoe one day on Sunday and I wanted to know where I could rent some park skis or any twin tips for the day?

Then also I meet my GF sking etc etc she's from the bay area and we ski Tahoe alot so im planing on Proposing up the Mt, im thinking after we ski so i dont have to carry the ring all day. Any ideas on a good spot to do it with a view or something?

As far as after skiing you could do it at the top of the tram at high camp.

Raw dog ridge is shut down and would be quite the hike now....along with most of the peaks I do think. Haven't been there in a while so I'm not sure the status on the peaks.

Like all of the shops around will do demos. Granite chief sports, tahoe sports hub, etc etc

agreed on all of this. high camp will be a nice relaxed tram ride with a view, and you can grab a drink up there or whatever. i would think anywhere else at this point would require a hike...but maybe that's what you have in mind, idk

Skip proposing at squaw.. go to the lake and propose there. Skylandia pier has hosted 3 weddings I've shot as well as one proposal that I know of.. could go with that.. otherwise there's so many great places in tahoe to do that.

I guarantee you if you call squaw they would be more than happy to help you set up a sick proposal. I work at a nearby resort and they go apeshit over that type of stuff here.

Of course they will. Free advertisement for the rest of these guys lives....everytime somebody asks how they got engaged they will give a big speech about squaw. Smart move ahha

Aww I always thought a proposal on top of the Palisades would be cute, plus one hell of a view, but that's also a bit of a hike and I don't know how that would fit into your plans and whatnot.

There's always the deck at High Camp, a couple other people said that would be a neat spot, get a drink maybe. Or you could walk around the area just around High Camp, there's a lot of flowers in bloom right now and that would probably be beautiful. Plus if you do it early enough, you can still go hot tubbing to celebrate after.
