Park ski opinion

What do you guys think of a park/all mtn ski with flat camber and tip and tail rocker? The dimensions are lookin something like 115-90-115 with a 5mm x 20cm rocker. This is still looking to be made so don't ask for pics or anything

haha, identical dimesnions as the domain. The domain uses a fir/ aspen core whereas the other ski is probably gonna have a poplar core

So you're basically making a lighter version of the Domain. What's the edge width (Domain is using 3.5mm), and might I recommend Bamboo...very durable and poppy. I'd ride a ski with the Domain shape, flex, and rocker, with a bamboo core and 3.5mm edges and sidewall construction.

I prefer ABS, it makes the ski a bit lighter and has a more smooth even flex. I've skied skis with sandwich construction (I was on the Afterbangs last year) and it's not bad, they just feel a bit weird to me and make the ski too soft. But, either one is good, just not cap construction, there's no play and the edge hold suffers.

ya i agree with the ABS being the most solid option, although I personaly have had good luck with cap construction I know tons of people who hate it

It's not bad, it's makes for a more durable topsheet, it's just not ideal for carving and having an even flex.

I know, but bamboo would take it from pimp to super pimp...just saying. Basically, I was saying that pretty much the only thing I'd change about the Domain would be to put bamboo in the core.
