Park pow ski?

I'm stuck picking my next ski.

I love park I love pow when we get it. I'm 5'9 145lb

I'm a very advanced skier. I can ski anything.

I ride whister and sunpeaks. I like huge backcountry and in boundary kickers.

I'm looking for a ski that can handle this all. I only have one ski in my quiver.

ive been taking. Look at K2 hellbent size 169, atomic bent chetler 179, and the salomon dumont pro 171 .

money is not an option hence working at a shop.

I demo'd last Years hellbents for like a week. I tried park and crud and everything.

I'm afraid this years are just going to be way to muuch ski.

I actually just talked to a sales rep at my local ski shop about the Hellbents. He said that he just sold 2 of his 09/10 Hellbents to a few park rats because they preferred to use them in the park.

Now take it for what it's worth. I've never used them let alone in the park, but I'm just spreading some thought. There was a video on here not too long ago of a kid shredding hard with Hellbents in the park. Kickers, rails, and all.

i dont want my swing weight to be off balance. i like thoses jj but idk if there not center mount then im not too down. this years obsethed is sick looking

The obsether this year has kinda a pintail design, not that great for switch pow skiing, also alot of rocker. If u must center mount look at the line blend

blend isnt center mount :( thats dumb about the obsethed i wanna see how much rocker the kung fuas is. oh yea i can also get atomic and dynastar .

The only symmetrical fatties I can think of are New Lifes and Chopsticks, and those probably wouldn't be to ideal in the park.

Up to you, k2zebra rides the 169 Obsethed from last year and hes 6'3 180 and I got the 2009 179 Fujas and i am 6'1 155. I would go with the 169 mine feel a little big sometimes...but its all about what you want.

cuz they're huge and he wants to ski park on them too. you don't have to go super fat to ski powder you know. if he's into that kind of ski, he'd probably be better off with the chopsticks or the elizabeths or something like that.

I would go for, and in this order:

- Line Sir Francis Bacon

- Line Blend

- Rossignol S3

- Rossignol S5 (this one also has the most gorgeous graphic of any ski ever)

sounds like you want blends.

you don't want to go too wide on a one ski quiver. hellbents are overkill.

yea i do, i think you should be at least on the next size up, and on the hellbents, those are way to big to ski any rails, and a lil tough to hit park jumps with, but

Why has no one said elizabeths yet? If you can get your hands on a pair get them the sound perfect for you. If you can't find a pair look at sfb and obseths/ kung fujas. I feel like bents would be too much in the park although ive heard stories and seen vids of people slaying rails on them. I'd deffinetly say try them out first
