park or powder

park and pow are both great, but they are almost different sports, the whole style is completely different

-sticks and snow will break my bones and i will bleed profusely-
 
i like parks, but mostly because we don't have one so i rarely hit them and they're fun. powder is really fun on a fresh day, especially whistler pow

I have a feeling that I'm going to be on my own here...but I enjoy snowboarding in powder just as much if not more than skiing, but when it comes to park I'd rather ski anyday.

I dont know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
 
well some people just stay in the park witch i think it dumb because you are not a completly true skiier if you just do the park. powder until it is all gone then the park,that is what i say

^Did a bit of that today, it sucked. Well, I sucked too... But also, there was no inrun, so the powder just slowed you down and you couldn't get adequate speed for the hits... so that could be a problem. Yep.

pow, obviously.

and JD is right, pow in park does not work well. it slows you down and you end up casing all the tables.

West is Best.
 
yah seriously, park on a powder day? come on. Plus powder turns the whole mountain into a park, u can drop cliffs etc all day long, which is much better than tables any day

yeah POWDER is what i live for the parki is what you do when the snow is bad or its spring or you its either hit a few booters or take a groomer back to the chairlift in bewteen powder runs

I like pow cause it turns the whole mountain into one big park. With the hero snow you can go out and try all your tricks off cliffs, cornices, and wind lips.

Maybe pow. I rode it one whole day and I loved it. We don't have pow here. When I go for a trip in a decent mt. I ski pow if there's any.

I bet a lot of the people on this site can't even ski pow, cause they all just started skiing a year or two ago, but they say pow anyways.

Park is fun, but NEVER over pow.

^yeah livin in MN we dont get much pow so, i perfer pow, because its not here alot.
