Park or powder

pow ..even tho i love park just be able to ski pow every day would be amazing ... im from the east so if i have a even a foot of fresh snow i jizz myslef

Park, because it still snow in the park, so you could have jumps and rails, but then somedays there is powder, so you could jump off the tables of the jumps like cliffs. IDK this is a useless thread...

park or pow?

COC or windells?

ski or snowboard?

paper or plastic?

bla

why are so many looking for the lowest common denominator in life?

man they used to go to my school (thats no like) thunder bay christian school. When eric won the cup he took to our school. i hope jordan will to. they donated an outdoor hockey rink to our school too.

this year was awesome for powder days in tbay (by tbay standards of course)we even had a snowday on free skiing day

Stupid question. Powder for sure. I don't even enter the park on pow days and I always catch first chair. Some people have no clue how good it feels to ride waist deep snow, then everyone on the chair gets so stoked. Pow for sure.

NS is directed towards a younger audience than TGR. Plus, I find that people on TGR are actually flame more. There's good info on both sites but it's on different subjects. I just find NS more interesting, personally.

That's exactly what I was going to say. Damn, that's the second time someone took the words from my mouth today. TGR seems to be much more big mtn. charging type of stuff, while NS would be freestyle BC, like Nimbus crew type of skiing.

i guess i ski right in the middle of jibbing and charging, depends on the terain. im just to lazy to get almost 8000 post on tgr so ill stick with ns :P already post whored 1 site, why do it to another?

NO because some of us like to ski park AND powder, and not to be put in a box that only obsesses with one aspect of skiing. And because some of us have a blast skiing in ANY conditions with whatever is available that day as long as it is skiing.

This isn't even a real question to me. Park is fun, but skiing in deep powder launching off stuff, doing stupid jibs into soft snow, just floating around is the best feeling ever. No park can ever match how I feel about powder.
But TGR seems like a bunch of older dudes that take things a little too seriously, think they are superior to us people who ski in parks, and are all about being hard core on the mountain. That's fine with me, but I don't want to be a part of it. Like someone else said, we kinda fit more with the backcountry jibbing/Nimbus attitude more, and they fit in with well, TGR and a big mountain comp attitude. Yes I'm stereotyping, but that's the overall vibe I get. I'll stick to NS.

No it shouldn't matter at all, and individual should be able to ski however they want. Skiing is an art and expression of style, he should be able to ski no poles in pow even if he isn't Andy Mahre or Pep. Those pros are people innovating skiing today and many skiers look up to their style, this kid obviously like the way that style looks, and also how it feels. So please step off his swag.

Park is fun when theres no pow. You can't even compare techy out of bound lines on a whistler pow day to skiing park. It's just so much better in every way.

I don't know if you quoted me because you thought I was hating, but you just took the words out of my mouth.

Just got one issue with your post. maybe he just likes skiing nopoles pow? It's fun regardless of what style you want to look...one of my friends shane kills it no poles in the pow and has a lot more of a gangsta style than the nimbus crew. You don't have to copy a pro to try something that they do. Just saying...I think this is all too long winded haha
