Park or Powder?

So last winter I finally had the opportunity to not work and be a shred bum. It ruled.

But, at the beginning of the season I was thinking that the raddest thing about not working was I could hit up every pow day. However at the end of the season I was sick of running to shit on storm days (I ride at The Bird), being cold, yadda yadda yadda. Sounds lame I know.

What happened was I ended up getting stoked on park. Warm soft snow. Killer visibility. Way easier to hang with my friends and feed off each other, all that goofy stuff.

Now that I'm back in a cube, I wonder what'll happen this season. We just had a big storm cycle roll through, and it was so much fun riding pow even though it was like 3 degrees. Sitting at my desk now I can't wait for this weekend to hit up some rails.

So what would you rather ride? Park? Pow? Or shralp the Pow in the morning then park in the afternoon (currently my fave, but it's a rare day).

wen i went to steamboat i went up and tried to get in sum pow then later me and my bro did the park

ok lets be honest though, if anyone puts park over pow anyday everyone would rip them to shit, so i'm guessing no ones gonna say that, even if they feel that way

There are probably so many kids on this site that never get to ski pow so their only choice is groomed or park.

Me? Pow all the way. I shred every last possible stash and then I head to the park.

i understand ur delema, skiin pow is awesome, i just moved to colorado from the east and skied a few pow days and its awesome but skiin park is just as fun. You can really see your progression compared to riding pow. idk its a toss up for me..if it dumps i would ride pow untl the freshies are gone and then go ski park.

i'll ride pow all day if it's good but typically i'll ski the rest of the mountain in the morning and than when it starts to get skied off, i got to the park later in the day and chill there cause the conditions don't change as drastically there

no pow here, building some bc jumps is remotely a mix of park and powder, but i gotta say decide for yourself which u like better. but if theres a shitty park this year don't waste ur time

they both rock my socks. they are both amazing but i ride park most of the time and when i get to ride some nice powder its incredible.
