Park lifts that don't scan tickets out west?

That would be a forever hike. And I'm sure one of the patrol would ask you why you were hiking so far.
 
Do yourself a favor and don't try to poach at Mammoth. You might get citizens arrested haha. I won't name names for dignity sake.
 
hahah really? Brighton checks tickets harder than any place ive skied. on multiple occasions they made my friend take off his goggs helmet and hat because they didn't believe that HIS pass was really his passand their park sucks so i wouldn't go there anyway
 
Just grab a ticket from someone walking out. You would be surprised how often people leave at 11:00 or 12 with a full day pass.
 
Hitching with a group of 3+ dudes that far and with a lot of gear is going to take you a long long long time, you'll probably have to split up a bunch etc. as not many people are going to have room or want to stop. Just work that into your plans, or save up for bus fare. Also be aware that many resorts watch for ticket clipping (buying/bumming tickets off people in the parking lot in the afternoon) and will kick you off/ban you from the resort. Some places will also call the police for theft if you ride the lifts without a ticket.
 
Dude brighton fucking makes you pay extra to get into their park because people kept sneaking in that statement couldn't be farther from the truth
 
Its gonna be next to impossible to get onto a mountain out west without paying, id say just pay, plenty of websites can get you bargain prices on ski passes
 
When in slc use resources like artic blast combo meal for nite ski tickets $15 -go urban it's a fuckin joke if u are familiar with spots and go to ski shops buy tix in the am discounted ski to mid day sell urban tix for $5 less then the mid day price in the lot it'll cost u $20 to ride. G look gents- Fuck the man and the rich ass resorts
 
i was at Brighton all last season and i think the only times i had my pass checked were first chair pow days. if you take Great Western up you will never get checked.
