Me and a couple guys are gonna hitchhike west from colorado to ski utah and california (if we make it that far) to do some filming. My goal would be to find a couple resorts with good parks that I can hike to early in the morning and ski the park lift for free all day.

So if you know of somewhere that doesn't scan tickets at the park lift in utah or california (or anywhere i guess) let me know!!

Park City?

Mammoth?

PC and Mammoth parks are both on the lower lifts. I'm not sure about squaw valley area, but i think its the same. I think you're SOL.

theres reosrt like 30 minutes away from Las Vegas, that doesnt scan tickets, well it depends on who's scanning them, but vegas would be a great place film and its on the way to mammoth its called las vegas ski and snowboard resort

Its really easy to buy passes in the parking lot at Mt High for $5 or a beer I've done it a bunch, a lot of people seem to go to Mt High to ride for a couple hours and then just drink beer in the parking lot for the rest of the day.

go to keystone there is some shorter ways up i.e. service roads... make some friends on staff and see what happens. or later day at breck

i am pretty sure squaw doesn't check and i don't think heavenly does. heavenly's park wouldn't be to bad to get to if you hiked from the california parking lot up gun barrel i think. From there you can ski to one of the upper lifts that they don't check only thing is i think ski patrol is located at the bottom of gun barrell. doubl check on this though.

best advice for this situation would be to quit while you're ahead. that's a pretty awful idea if i've ever seen one.

Little shits like you are the ones that always end up ruining it for the rest of us. So many parks have had to downgrade their shit because some little fucker sneaks in, gets hurt on a jump, and then sues the mountain and wins. Just buy your god damned tickets.

Northstar at Tahoe doesn't scan... You'd have to hike pretty far to get there though. They just scan at the gondola.

Buy a lift ticket. It's not that hard to find discounted tickets online or locally. But support your local ski areas; they wouldn't be here without you. More and more resorts are running in the red this year. Every lift ticket counts.

I understand being unable to afford lift tickets. But there are other ways to earn your turns than screwing over your resorts.

Just get a day ticket from someone leaving the mountain. My friend used to do this all the time with me, and he would normally get a ticket within 15 minutes.

Hustle son, get out in the parking lot around 12.30 or 1.00 and just ask people who are leaving if they wanna sell you a pass. I did that for two years at Mountain Creek in NJ.

sooo far from the truth. they literally scan you on vista every run. atleast in vertical plus they do...

Um, exactly. VERTICAL PLUS. Not in the normal line. Although I did get scanned twice last season which was like the first time ever.
