Park lessons.

My home mountain recently started offering Park lessons, and their instructor seems pretty damn good. I'm pretty sure I met him a while back. Anyway I was wondering what you guys think about Park lessons? I've learned a lot on my own so I don't know if it's worth it. But what do you guys think? Is it worth it? Have any of you guys taken Park lessons? Let me know what you guys think

I think it could help me dial tricks better than if I kept trying on my own

My friends do a local ski team called Nybora, it's essentially 10-15 coaches that break off in groups with different groups of kids and they work on different tricks. It's worked wonders for my friends. Long story short I highly recommend park lessons.

It taught me so much everytime ive taken park lessons just like to get the right mechanics makes tricks so much easier but if your more advanced its not really worth it.

That's awesome. Basically doing what progression camps do at local ski resorts (on a lower level). Sign me up, once I get down french frying....

Take one. If you like it and/or learn something, great, take more of them. If you don't like them, great, at least you know that theyre not for you.

Park lessons can really help. Any level. Obviously it also depends on where you take them too. My old home mountain use to have any regular instructor teach them. But if it is a REAL certified instructor... heck yes it helps. I never had "lessons" but more so coaching at Windells. More than anything... they taught me confidence to bring to any trick I wanted to do.. Whether I'm being coached or not.

I took them with my school's ski club last year and learned how to blind surface, hit down tubes and 3 the first 3 times i went.

Then i got hurt and stopped going.

I would definitely go and enjoy yourself and you will learn a lot. I regret not finishing out the season. It helps so much having somebody teach you

Nybora is not that good. The intructors just go off and shred while you pretty much ski on your own. The worst part is that it's 650 dollars and it doesn't include a season pass.
