Park just doesnt impress me anymore?

this exactly. when riding park i am always lacking that feeling of freedom, one could say that you can experience the freedom by getting creative on rails or adding style to jumps, but you really haven't felt it until you go out and ski a line that you have been dreaming of for ever. Thats what skiings about to me.

i think it all depends where you are. Where I ski we have no crazy back country skiing so we just all settle with the mediocre park we get. that kinda why we end up going like fucking ballerinas, and the clothing part is just a fad.

BUT I GOTSTA BE LIEK TAMMY WALLNITS AND WEAR XXXXXXXXXXL SO I CAN LAND ALLZ DA DOUBLE CORKS N SHEEYIT!!

On a serious note the way people dress shouldn't affect the way you see the sport. Don't worry about how other people do it, just do it how you want to

if you don't like what other people are doing, then do something different.

it's that simple.

the tough thing to do is to find something different to do, but when you find that thing, you'll know it.

pro skiers, please don't include park jumps and jibs i your video part!

even the craziest man-made jumps/jibs are boring as hell to watch. why? IT'S SO PREDICTABLE! you know exactly where the skier will take off, and you know exactly where they're going to land. the conditions are almost always perfect, and 9 times out 10 the skier does some flawless trick. it's rare that something unscripted occurs.

to me, it's the uncertainty and the unpredictability of the backcountry that makes things really fun and exciting to watch - the skier never really knows how big the cliff is until he hits it; the skier doesn't know what the landing is like until he touches down; plus, the snow conditions always vary.

i meant to say "park jumps," rather than "man-made jumps."

to me, man-made jumps are great if they're in the backcountry.
