Park design and concepts

it's always been a passion of mine, and I enjoy building features I enjoy, but it's July, and I'm wondering what other people think when they day dream park set ups.

Put up a couple of shots of what you envision to be fun in parks.

Also, if you've been to Sundown, what did you think? Where have you seen what you were looking for?

we already re-built the dfd. it's got 10 degree angles instead of down 15 flat 20 down. looks fun. not gnar

I liked having a rail with a landing that was as big as this one set up from a few seasons ago... you could send it pretty good and not worry about flatting out

thats sick you rebuilt the DFD my knee is still messed up from when i ate horrible shit on that thing.

realistic things you could possibly do

-skinnier boxes so you can practice the spins on/pretzles before bringing it to something like the 32

-a mellower C box

-making the flat-up have a gapish/tableish type thing before the landing. may sound gay but i loved sending that but i hated how the landing got fucked up real easy and landing flat

- doing what you said with big red on a table and land on the landing( spinning off posibilites would be dope)

more unrealistic things but it would be dope if you did them

-making jumps earlier into the season(fuck the east coast)

-a rainbow box like park city

- a hitching post type thing like park city, i imagine that would be very fun

-a nice s box would be real sick

- so too would a mellow rollercoaster box

just some thoughts

would take a lot of snow but I would like to see stuff like this:

Medium-sized step up, then immediately after a nice FD rail.

the thought with a jump first puts you really fast into that rail... the jib would need to be taller (higher off the ski trail) in order to compensate... but it could be doable... either that, or the jump would have to be step-upish...

what you think?

I'm going to try to take a shop class next year and learn to weld. Then with my dads welder I'm making my rail dreams come true!

like the step up idea but instead of a step up what about a little like 3 foot kicker wih like 2 foot gap onto a butter boxish thing made of snow like a 4x4x4 cube of snow with a lil lip or no lip off for the rail.  Just so you could hit it switch, spin to reg, slide the rail etc.

skinnier flat boxes, like a foot wide

barrels all over are always fun, if the cats dont run them over

maybe a log laid out sideways on the trail for jibbing, like you did with a few barrels like mid season.

And of course the snow loop like sam said

I'd love an s box... find me a pipe bender that can do identical curves for cheap and i'll piece one together...

unbow setup so it pops you up for big spins off, same concept as seen in this years meathead sesh at sdown

already rebuilt! it looks sick

first 16 feet is flat, second 16 feet curves. it lets you off 6 feet off the snow.

so sick, no idea how excited you just made me!

I like that setup soooo much better than 2 years ago when it was downward curve to flat.
