it's a national forest, and i think they close early because no one comes in april. They could def. do it after the lifts closed though.

im pretty sure that most areas on national forest land have a lease for the winter that ends on the same date every year, meaning they couldnt stay open past a certain closing date even if they had 15 feet of snow
