Park City vs Breck/keystone for Gap year?

So my friend and I just graduated from college and we are taking a year off before grad school to be ski bums. We have narrowed it down to Park city or summit county area. I ski mostly park and am trying to get my friend into it. Any way pros or summit county are more resorts. keystone/breck/vail./abasin/copper mt also having access to woodward would be awesome and summit has a longer season its also super expensive which sucks. PC is cheaper but has a shorter season and fewer mountains but that being said its Park city and those parks are awesome. I don't know anything about the night life in either place so tip there are welcome too. we applied for jobs in both places and so far have jobs offers at canyons and breck and keystone.

TLDR: My friend and I are taking a Gap year after college should we go to Park City or The Breck/Keystone/Copper area?

It's pretty much a toss up. If you want more options of the best parks the go for summit. But if you want cheaper living and more of a city feel you can live in Salt Lake and PC/ all other resorts are only 35 minutes away. If those things are equal for you than flip a coin. You are going to get a lot of people claiming one is better than the other but that's all personal preference.

Personally I prefer SLC. That's where we are based out of, have access to good parks and sick side/backcountry. Also the cost of living in SLC is much cheaper.

The biggest benefit I see to living in summit is that you live on the mountain basically and have that mountain town feel. Also breck and keystone have undoubtedly the best parks in the nation if not the world. But it also does get super cold up there.

if you like drugs, summit county/Breckif you like a park that's not super crowded, Keystone or Park City

If you hate crowded parks but have to live somewhere with nightlife, Park City

if you want more options/really sick powder days=Park City (Park City powder is pretty much on par with summit county resorts, but if you go to big or little cottonwood canyon you'll find the best terrain and snow.

lift tickets to SLC area resorts are generally in the $50s-$60s if bought at discount at like REI, compared to $100+ in Colorado

It makes me sad to say this, but wait another year til Vail/Talisker wins their lawsuit against PCMR. Buy the epic pass, do the first half in CO, second half in UT.
Just heard the other day that PCMR is writing-in a clause for passholders this year that takes the potential changeover into account... not sure exactly what that means, but Powdercorp doesn't seem to be looking very optimistic these days

get a pass to alta and park city and you will get the best overall skiing anywhere in the the us. also, slc is cheap and there is more to do than you would think. but if quality and quantity of park is your biggest factor its colorado no doubt.
