Is this park city’s upper terrain park? Heading there in Feb, where’s the best park?

Transitions is on the canyons side off of sun peak and is a medium park.

Three kings is on the PC side and is a medium/large park. Pick axe is a medium park on the PC side off of King Con, little kings is a small park off of bonanza.

Three kings is the best, pick axe and transitions is fun and little kings is pretty small so depends on your skill.

i rode canyons last week with the setup from the vid and its fun and flowy, but definitely not as fun as riding 3 kings just because of how many hits you get over at PC and the surrounding terrain is more fun than canyons too

Peak 5 Chair maybe just due to being able to ski back down to lap it lookers left, but that superlap back down to Tombstone can be a real tossup in the ballpark of a 5 minute wait to 30. Fantasy Ride and Red Pine can be fun sometimes, but their terrain just doesn't have that good flow.

Ngl the only reason I prefer the PC side is that the layout actually makes sense and it's easy to get anywhere on the mountain from one lift ride. You waste 45 mins of your day going up and down the canyons side.

Same. It's PC; You're not getting many steeps there and its mostly low-angle meadows and open chill glades but yeah, give me Jupe laps over anything on canyons side anyway. Especially West-Face when the winds load it up really nicely. And North Bowl.

Jup > anything on canyons side

Meh, both are subpar compared to anywhere else in Utah. I prefer the PC side

idk i just have not been very impressed with the terrain at canyons, but i had an amazing time riding mcconkey’s through the trees a couple weeks ago.

also yeah i hate that you have to do a lift puzzle to figure out where you are going to end up

[tag=262770]@ReturnToMonkey[/tag] would be disappointed because this is not monkee energy at all. Do not agree with your opinion. If you don't walk-up from the base of the Cabriolet or have a parking pass for the upper lots or own a condo, You're required to take at least 3 chairs up before getting to anything that's not a narrow groomer down to a choke-point lift that has at least a 15-20 minute wait. A quick lap with yes, great skiing, until you're back down to the shitshow that is Canyons. Keep in mind they have the most lodging out of both base areas so it's always filled with kooks upon kooks. Fuck that place and people who are LoYaL to it.

Yeah nah Canyons blows major ass and since they got rid of their bike park and BC access to BCC, they can fuck right off. Just don't ski the ridgeline there please.

Transitions is ok. It's hard justifying staying over at canyons side when 3 kings exist. If they had the jump line it'd be worth but I'm just glad they brought it back

Because you don’t agree with my opinion it’s not monkey energy??

As a somewhat related question, does anyone have any intel on the parking situation. Is Canyons slammed now that PC side is a paid? Alternately is the PC parking lot empty now that it's $25 to park with no option of a season parking pass? Where are you all parking to get to the PC side? Are things in general less crowded than the shit show from last year? It all sounded like a PITA so this is the first year I didn't buy an epic, but I'd like some info so I can decide for next season, I really miss pick axe.

PC posts parking info herehttps://twitter.com/PCMtnAlert

I have noticed so far that on weekend, the reservations are gone by like 9-10am and it looks like the canyons lot has been getting full by mid morning over the holidays.

No idea if the parking lot at PC is actually full, seems like it though, not surprising. You could make a reservation with basically no consequences before it was paid, maybe they have something in place now, seems like it would be easy to abuse.

Is traffic better? also no idea, there have been some reports that some people think its better, but some think it's worse so its all anecdotal information. We should have a better idea after the season is over, but PC has alot of choke points so we usually have some traffic around 8-10 and 3-5 anyway.

Its been hard to judge the crowds this year as the mountain has had a ton of terrain open and we had an excellent early season. Lift lines havent been too bad yet, I missed most of the holiday traffic but yesterday both lots were full and main runs were quite busy with people, but no lift line over 10 mins that wasn't jupiter.
