Park City or Mammoth

Hey NS,

just an aussie skier from down under wondering where to take his next skiing trip overseas for the upcoming northern hemi season. I've been to Breck, Snowmass, and Steamboat before and I'm looking for a fairly well rounded mountain with a sweet park and hopefully some decent clear days during January to shred it

So far I am thinking Mammoth or Park City.

Which one is better to go to during Jan for park?

If you come to the US don't ski park, ski pow and gnar. Go to Snowbird or Alta or Jackson or Squaw. Probably not Squaw cause you have to get lucky to get good conditions.

they are both really good. I have skied both but in my opinion i like park city better. I was able to meet steve stepp (you probably dont know who that is, hes not pro) and tom wallisch who are both pretty nice. but at mammoth, when i went, there were not really many people in the parks which is good for shooting. I recommend park city because they do have a good variety of features.

i have lived in pc my whole life and mammoth jumps are wayyy better than pc's

I'm pretty sure people who don't live in utah for their entire lives know this too...

Mammoth has a longer season, warmer days, and a better mountain. Park city has better nightlife. Take your pick.

Park city is the "mecca of park skiing" or so I hear, so if you ski park a ton, PC is the way to go

the scene most of the time is more exciting but the park itself isnt better than mammoths
