Park City Moutain Resort... horrible i think so

to bad its practically everyone complaining. Sure they did something wrong whatever. Dosn't give random gapers who are standing on the landings of jumps to state there doing nothing wrong, scream, attempt to fight you, then go to the lifties and tattle on you.

PC's park is sick, if they had park passes it would be perfect.
 
the step up step down thing is maaaaad fun. also i'm stoked that one of the park crew is on here to listen to suggestions and critiques, if you will hah. i don't know about in schlopy's case but in tom's the safety partoller was in power trip mode from the start. tom definately could've handled it better, but Dougy Flint could've as well. just kind of a beat situation.

but anyways, Jonesy's is baller as hell and i'm willing to just be passive to authority as long as i can still session them booters.

I understand... and we've had chats about safety patrol. just for everyone else, it's not that hard to slow down and behave on public runs when it's busy as hell. just do it and have fun:)
 
Adrenaline is the man. Jonesys has been super fun, King's not so much. The new hit thing is pretty cool, but the jump line got micro, and the rails are deminishing. It's still fun, but not nearly as much as it was the week of Queens cup and before. Do they plan on making the jumps a little bigger? and are they going to add any of the rails that were at the top by the tables? Keep it up though. I'm lovin' it.
 
that and, i find it rediculous that half the slopes at my mountain are referred to as "family" runs, which is basically the 3/4 runs from the tops of the lifts, which results in 2 ski patrol after every turn and drop telling you to slow down even if your skating over.
 
yo, utah is not bad at all, its sick. pc is sick i guess, it just seems that the workers there suck.

ive only been in the BCC and LCC but i think most people would say to go to snowbird or alta, brighton and solitude are fine too. if your looking for groomers and park, then just go to PC or Deer Valley or wahtever.

Snowbasin is about an hour away from SLC but its actually really sick, if theres new snow the mtn has a ton of potential on its upper faces
 
yo schlop does she have auburn hair? I think she is the same one who pulled my buddies pass last year. PCMR is prolly the most local unfriendly mountian in the US. The Canyons is the polar opposite of PC. They love locals and do everything in their power to take care of them.
 
i agree that park city is fucking up this year. they took out the 3rd table in jonseys which was probably the best jump park city has built. they are completly fucked and some of the lifties are deffinatly assholes. and the park guys are retarded and wont paint the jumps on days with flat light, they could make the park so sick but they are just lazy.
 
i got my ticket pulled at okemo for doing a kang off a bump by the liftline. the patroller said i put all 200 people in the lines lives in danger. i laughed
 
i hate ski patrol, my friend was gunna pay me 5$ to take a run with my shirt off when i got to the bottom ski patrol pulled my pass and said i could've gotten hypothermia. i talked to ski patrol about it and got my pass back later that day
 
I bet you hate lift maintenance and lifties too. Damn those people that keep the mountain running! They're all worthless and out to get you!

it was president's day weekend, of coarse the lines are going to be long... get over it. park city is sick and you shouldn't not go there just because of the staff... and the people who ride there are wayy cool too :)
 
if your sick of pc talk with ur $$ dont buy there pass next year, encourage your friends not to buy their pass. mebbe after they lose enough skiers they will realize somethings wrong

i went to get my pass back today and it turns out if i get in trouble again im gone for life... a nice way to treat a lifetime local but whatever it was my fault i wish she woulda given me a warning tho
 
ya, i think they for sure need to mellow out their safety patrol policies and shit. Until this year they've been real mellow about everything, but this year they turned it up too much. The lifties get money for taking passes, the safety patrol is always told to write more warnings and shit... it just seems like they're gettin too strict. Obviously the local kids aren't the majority of their revenue, but we don't deserve to get our passes pulled for doing one thing wrong.

and half of the safety patrol wishes they were cops

 
yo neither of us yelled at her...Alicia took a good 5 minutes trying to untie my pass and then cut it off finally, while I just stood there. I didn't say a single word to that bitch and neiher did schlopy and ya I just called her a bitch because she being accusatory. Now I'm pissed.
 
well umm... you kinda were in the wrong.. so the accusations were correct. thats a fault of your own. if you are going to snake the fast tracks line at least know that if you get caught they arent going to be happy with you..
 
oh and other than that, if we break a rule or dont ride without a pass on a trail other than the park they pull are pass or you get in some kind of trouble, if someone doesnt follows the rules of the park; goes trough it without a park pass, ruins the jumps, makes it unsafe for us going off the jumps by sitting below nothing happends to them.
 
If you are not allowed to paint jumps just for some flat light. Then all of you guys are fucked up. You should fix your system so you can get some shit done like make the jumps at kings bigger or maybe steeper landings. I know their is no snow, but you guys should be able to improve on the jumps at kings a little and paint the jumps i mean JESUS. And you can at least set up more rails too. I saw four rails laying on the side of payday and like three more on the side of Jonseys. Sometimes I wish you guys got raped by a horde of flying dolphins with AIDS.

any resort that would ban snowboarding and then suddenly pay pros a shit load of money to ride there is gay. They have a fukin sick as fuck park though
