Park City Mid Season 10 11 Edit Critique

Just put this edit up for a school project... 3 days of filming at the mountain, one at a jump, and one at a bridge. Took a quick night to edit. I wanna hear what you all have to say... This is my second year editing and filming and my 3rd ski edit.

the biggest thing I noticed was 100% of your shots were very shaky, work on that (maybe purchase a glidecam?)

Ya, I would love a legit glidecam. I have a homemade one that's decent but didn't get the job 100% done for HD film. Thanks man, that'll be a big consideration if i ever come to some money

You look super cute with the bright orange FKS and Full Tilts...

But seriously, cool edit I guess. The shots weren't really that shaky, or at least it didn't bother me that much. I would've enjoyed a little bit of organization as far as your shots go. It'll be a double flip on that jump (which was epic) into a 270 onto the d-f-d box in the resort straight into an odd jump shot. Maybe try to bunch them up a little bit.

It felt a little to "random" for lack of a better word. Personally, I prefer when an edit has some kind of theme/feel/vibe to it that is consistent throughout the edit. I generally feel that the music plays a large part in this and editing/shooting to match the song and the feel you are trying to convey is a good way to do this. Also as mentioned above I suggest a tripod/glidecam.
