Cool beans, I might have to hit that up when I'm up there. Do you know where it's running from/to and if it's included with a pass?

when i was up there biking all summer it looked like it was from up around the top of the bubble lift down to near the red pine lodge

They don't have the worst skiing. I enjoyed myself a lot having my pass there last year. I've had a pass to brighton, canyons, pcmr, and snowbird and I feel each resort is about equal they all have plusses and minuses.

whoaaaa now. Shitty layout? yes. terrible skiing? probably the dumbest things i've ever read. and i read the script to Pluto Nash.

i've never skied there. after biking all summer and noticing the thoroughly terrible layout of the place, i have ascertained that the only reason you would want to ski there is park (i don't ski park), or the sidecountry (i'd rather tour out of lcc anyway).

The layout sucks- that much isnt debateable. It took a few times skiing there for it to grow on me, but the skiing doesnt suck. The slackcountry of 9990 is a lot of fun, and Condor Woods might be my favorite tree run in Utah (not to mention it dumps you out in a fun natural halfpipe). I'm a 'Bird rat through and through but the Can isn't all bad (ridiculous BCC gondola proposal aside.)

Layout is shitty, but if you're staying up in PC, its the best you got, and the best we got is pretty nice.

Welcome to Park City beezey. I might have a few friends looking for a roommate. I will look into that sometime soon. Hahah...ectreeskier11 is right about a few things. They do have a somewhat screwed up layout making for the possibility of bad days. Instead of waiting in the one tram line to get to the top of the mountain at The Canyons you need to take the cab, then the gondola or bubble, then tombstone and finaly 99. That's four lifts to get up to where I ski 99% of the time. (which is the slackcountry) Days when you are waiting at Red Pine Lodge for tombstone to open are super frustrating. These are the days I would turn right around and download on the gondola and make a late start somewhere els. A few of these days can turn you off quick to The Canyons. But at the same time I have had some unbelievable runs around the can slackcountry.

down load cereal?

I thought only gapers and fatchicks didn't ski down

I haz skied down on one ski w/ a broke binder cause usin lifts to gain vert is well ok but

using lifts to go down

= liberache light in the boots soy as fuck

Well considering that the skiing from the gondola down kind blows except for a small stashes and allows you to get down quicker than riding shortcut up then skiing down doc's if makes sense. Downloading allowes me to ski more blower somewhere legit. Oh and gives me the extra gongola sesh. I even sometimes do it in the summer cause there isent a decent dh trail to the base yet hopefully soon. Hear that duke?

Have you not hit Insurgent? I love ridin that to the base on my DH rig after lappin the park. Hollys is fun too but a dh bike is kinda overkill for that.

Ya I have hit them all many times. Insurgent or MGD as Silvy named it is ok. (one of the patrolers who built the trail a few years ago) But sucks to get to with a big bike and the short ups arent exactly what I am looking for when riding a 40lb bike. Hollys would be ok if a half dozzen berms went in. But duke and the new park crew dossent deal at all with the old trails for some screwed up reason. Hollys trail needs to be cut off to uphill foot traffic to make it a good dh trail aswell. There usto be a small section of trail named Ricochett that pealed off hollys, it was a little steeper but still not that great. Not many good options for a dh bike if I have my trail bike I allways go out to MGD or Ambush. (Ricochett was closed all season I think)

insurgent is not that tight at all I almost always download in the summer, but would never download in the winter that is ridiculous that groomer is so fun to shred down that ridge.
