speak for yourself. I think spring skiing is better the winter skiing. softer landings bright blue skys. dont have to wear as much outerwear. and falling doesnt hurt at all. I try all my crazy new tricks in the spring. thats why im so pumped killington is open till may 10.

^ winterkid, he means that recreational skiiers dotn want to ski in 70 degree weather, all us park skiiers love a 70 degree park day, but people that have to ski regular on the groomers dont like it and think its stupid, so they close coz they wont get enough money from just us

 
Ofcourse we love spring skiing but most people stop skiing and snowboarding around march. Why? I have no fucking clue.

i skied my last day today in about 50 degrees with bright blue skys and it was great. Prollly be able to ski around here a bit longer but im goin on a cruise next weekend so im gonna be gone...

ˆthats because alyeska is sick enough to cater to the minority. In fact, thats pretty much all they do. Theres maybe 10 days per season when anchorage shows up, and theyre all during march and april, but alyeska keeps rockin through june. we have good snow this year, and we arent done yet

Here is the real deal w/ all PC resorts in Utah.

Most of all the employees are from S. America on US Work Visa's, which limit there time here to the 10th of April, no matter what. There could be snow here till August and there is nothing that the resorts could do about it short of hiring a whole new staff.

It sucks, but it is the reality of the situation.

 
the whole reason park city couldnt stay open longer was because they lose all the brazilian works and they lose there insurence im sure they would stay open if those werent the circumstances
