Park Boots? Yay or Nay?

Hey guys whats up,

So i've been into park skiing for a while now and i can do some pretty basic stuff, 360s 180s, boxes, rails every now and then, some decent sized jumps, some grabs, you know pretty basic stuff, but i really want to improve my park skiing, and for the past few years I've been renting my ski boots as I'm only 14 and feet are still growing there fore id probably grow out of them in like two years best case scenario, so my question is, do you think it'd be worth investing some money into buying a pair of park boots? I've never worn park boots therefore don't know the advantages, are they a lot lighter or just a bit?

Thanks for any help! i really appreciate it!

Park specific boots are extremely overrated and instead you should go to a bootfittrt and get fitted.

This, don't go looking for a park boot. Go looking for a boot fitter who will get you the correct boot for you.

Don't get full tilts they suck. They are bad quality and overrated. They don't stop shin bang and they are too soft.

Yo status says pow is life so if you do park but also ski pow get an all mountain or a big mountain boot like the Dalbello Kr2 krypton. I have the Kr2 krypton and I love it. I ski a lot of all mountain skiing and heavy park skiing as well. Also the Dalbello Moro T is a sick boot if you weight 140+ LBS. it's still considered a park boot but it's equal in performance for big mtn as well because it's extremely stiff.

Hopefully that helps

My full tilts have been awesome. This is the third season im skiing on them, the quality that I experiences is great. If I would've thought they were too soft I would have bought another tongue.

The thing is that what is best is a very subjective question. No one has the answer for you op. Get a bootfitter cuz thats where your answer will be.

Merry Christmas

Yours truly, BearGrills.

I have forgotten the feeling of shinbang thanks to my full tilts. but wait until u stop growing for sure, boots are expensive and are an investment that should last you a while.
