Park bindings

i am looking for a good park specific binding for next ski season. i dont know weather or not to go with marker, salomon, head, look, or any other brand. i am kindof leaning towards salomon but i want to make sure that thier binding will perform well landing jumps and spinning. as of now the bindings i get will be mounted on a symmetrical ski, center mounted.

such as today i completly stripped the screw from the base of my ski spinning out of a rail and tore the rear plate off of the track. i currently have marker bindings on my ARV's.

i love mt 14 frees. the new salomons look sick also. what kind of markers did you have?

As Nomen said it depends on your style of skiing.

I have no problems with my Salomons, they're nice and light and I've never broken them. I'm fairly light weight (130) and don't huck very much, so that's probably why. A lot of people hate them, but I don't really mind them.

allright. i am 6ft. 1in. 180lbs. i am an expert skier. i dont huck huge in park. by this i mean i cant do massive spins but i will try jumps up to 70ish feet. i do a lot of trail riding but this doesnt matter because i am going to be mounting these new bindings on park specific skis that will only be used for park. i have been skiing since i was 3 and am in my 14th season so i am an accomplished skier and ski everyday of the week after school and most weekends. if you need anymore info just ask/post.

btw sorry but the binding that i broke recently with my ARV's were marker 12.0 Free wide brake.

i agree marker are shitty for that reason, i laughed hartily when tim russel broke his brake at the us open. i liked my salomon bindings i had on my last skis a lot better.

my salomon bindings are light and good on controlled spins (not hucked/ anything under 7's) and i feel in control when i hit a patch of ice east. But hucked spins, rails, landings, flex, and ESPECIALLY carving pow they have sucked for me.

They pop out so much even when ilifted the din up more. Ill be getting a new set of scratch or fks 155 i believe was the #

Salomons are crapy and pre release for no reason at all. Look bindings are always good, I got the JEsters and they are my fav binding yet.

I have the marker 12. free's to, they just broke on me as well. Vist has some good bindings also, same with salomon.

true. I weigh about 170 lbs and I do a lot of bumps, pipe, rails, jumps and generally hucking and jibbing all over the hill, and I have trashed s810s twice and my s912s are showing premature signs of wear. I have broken too many brakes to count as well.

I have sth 16's... I have the din at 10. IM 5 11, and 2 bills.

Theyre super fucking light, and salomon makes the simplest least tech bindings out there.

theyre mostly metal, but still super duper light. Ive given them quite a beating this season and they have held up fantastically. Holy shit, I should just write a review of them...

For me I would either go look/ rossi, or Salomon, but choose Salomon because theyre far lighter, and since look got rid of the turntable I dont feel safe in their clamps. No matter what the din is at, and how perfect the forward pressure is as soon as I make a high speed turn, its over son! I dont know why that is... I guess im just unlucky!

hope that helped.
