Park Bevel

Hey I use a 2 side and 1 top bevel for racing but I dont know if thats the best for the park, but I don't know if thats the best for my 1080s anybody know what works well for the park?

don't sharpen the edges of your park skis. if you're going to slide rails, you don't want sharp edges. oh, and btw, why the fuck would it make a difference what degree you're running in park vs. in a course? seriously.

Don't listen to 'em homie. If you know your shit and you sound like you do, do it. But personally when I did give a fuck, I had a 2 degree bevel on the bottom, and my edges were sharp as shit, and never caught.

AS FOR THE REST OF YOU SILLY PARK MONKEYS THAT DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT TUNING SKIS. A bevel is when you, well, bevel your edges, meaning theres a teeny tiny little tilt to them. If it's done correctly. It's sweet, you can rip all over the mountain, get to the park, do sweet carve 540's and then grease a rail like nobody's business!

1,1 is best then de tune the underfoot an inch behind all the way to an inch infront of the bindings.

are you serious? anytime i have razor sharp edges in the park i bite hard on a rail. especially something like d-f-d. sharp edges are a blessing and a burden.

can someone explain bevel to me? i think i get it but i just wann make sure. is it like so edges arent at an exact 90 degree angle?

step one take file and place sideways on edge...step two, file until edge is round underfoot...step three go do a dope move like it ain't no thaing.

1/1 degrees base and side and rounded underfoot if you prefer. Maybe more base bevel if you don't ski anything except park.

when i have my park skis tuned i get he bases done at 3 usually, and sides at 1. you can still hold an edge on hardpack, but you dont hang up on rails nearly as much as you would with a 1/1 bevel. and yes, i can spin onto rails, thanks.
