Park at BMBW

Hey just wanted to get the word out that the main park is open at Brandywine. They have a 30 footer setup with some pop on it, and a rail setup at the bottom with a shotgun, a down box, and a down single bar rail.

Progression park just opened up today too!

Also...a little birdy told me they are going to be putting in a jump line at mills on north bowl below the Buena vista. No word on when, but I heard sometime soon.

cool. i really like the set up right now i just wish there was more. there are 2 jumps up now and hopefully more stuff to come! get those skis on some rails!

they are seriously retarded there. the website claims 35-40' all over the place, and its 25 feet at best . they have no idea how to measure a jump, ill guranteee their measuring lip to bottom of landing. and there looks to be absolutly no kick to it either

uhhh me and my 3 friends each got one and they are never going again this winter so I'll see if i can get one tomorrow of fone of them. They said they would give it to me but idk if they are around. We got them cuz this girl we were with got hurt one day and we had to take care of her and couldnt ski, so if ur really ballsy then you could try and use that story lol.

does anyone else think the little plastic ride-on wedge on their down box is retarded? i mean if you want it to be ride-on fine, but make it out of snow. and i do think the jumps are smaller than they say, but i didnt hate them. if its slow speed is an issue.

the ride on is stupid, but the lips of the jumps have not lift to them. Harder to go inverted or off axis unless youre throwing a lincoln. They throw you out more than up and speed is an issue on them.

I went today and it sucked. Everyone was hitting knuckle on the jumps and it was inpossible to get enough speed so they ended up closing them. I had some fun on the rails and boxes tho.

Yep but there's only two this year and they're practically impossible to clear.

The mini up box to down box is kind of fun actually. I snowboard and it's obviously not good for skiers but you can just hit the box from the sides.

What's really retarded is the shotgun rail. Waste of a rail.

Nothing's wrong with it. I just wish you guys had a nice flat rail for learning shit without getting broken off. I guess I worded that wrong. It's good for spins off for sure.

Only thing I ask is for a park with a bunch of fun things. (like Brighton's stuff).

Stoked too see the new stuff in the park this weekend.

duuude. your back. get me a pass to bwine so i can ride homie. then we will party again and do ignant shit.

ive come to the conclusion that all my friends i ride with are boarders, or non nsers. will anyone be out tomorow?

i actually like the mini up box to down box, it gives the park something new a fresh other than another ride on box. I ski and i can do it fine, just take a little speed in to it, 50/50 the mini up and shifty to slide or spin or whatever on, its fun give it a try

bowls are looking pretty good. nice and soft yesterday. tiger doesn't have any but when i was at wine it looks like they are starting to let them form on regulator, which i haven't seen in years.

but i can't wait for the rail section to be up!

What the hell has happened to BMBW? I remember early to mid 90s it would be sacrilidge to not have bumps on N Bowl, Tiger and Regulator. Shit, I remember running the Sprite Bump Comp on Regulator.

Then again, I remember drinking on the shuttle bus between the two WITH the bus driver...

Sad times indeed it sounds like. Who the fack owns BMBW these days?

i went last friday for college ID night. It was super packed! no one could get enough speed to clear the big jumps... overally a poor experiance for my first time there.

i was there this weekend for the first time this year and i gotta say it wasnt bad. going into it after reading this thread i thought it would suck but the jumps were nice (and clearable). they did get a little slow in the middle of the day but thats just because it was 40+ degrees. jibs were also nice and very well set up. and to top it off the cannon at bm on saturday night was a ton of fun. just thought id give some props to bmbw park crew

i'd have to say ive been a little impressed at the set up right now (other than the fact that more stuff can fit on that rail side but it'll happen soon) i mean all the rails are really fun and the rail jam set up is quite interesting. especially that box that looks like a dragonfly. its a lot of fun. thanks to the park crew for making it happen! and you guys threw down at the rail jam!

Nah. the flat down box setup on downdraft.

and i kinda see it. the jump is the head. the flat box and picnic tables are the body and wings, and the down box is the tail.

although i was thinking a pterodactyl.

to each his own i assume.

na dude that thing sucks! he's right its over on downdraft its a flat don box with two dance pads on either side. at first i was like what the hell is a skier suppose to do on this? but it turned out real fun

i dont think so but im the one with the blue tall tee on, bright blue and black helmet, i'll holla when i see you next

THE BEST WAY TO SEE WHATS GOING ON WITH THE PARKS AT BMBW
-THE PARK-PRIDE PARK-PROGRESSION PAKR-DOWNDRAFT PARK
THIS SEASON WE CREATED AT PARKS AT BMBW SITE...parkshttp://www.bmbwgallery.com/parks/Home.html

personally i think that the rails on buttermilk is a waste. i would much rather see an extensive park going all the way down pride. that way park crew doesn't have to mess with two parks.

prolly like 4 hits with two options on each. one options being easier and the other being more challenging.

that and i would love to see the rail used for the cannon put up... cough...

either way as long as things keep looking the way they are i'll be pumped. the park this year has been dope.
