PARK AT BLUE HILLS NEXT YEAR?

has anyone heard anything more about this? i remember an old thread about this. obviously it wont be anything good, but for only half an hour away as opposed to 3 hours to NH or VT it would be cool
 
Yeah next year they are going to have a park, they have a wicked cool guy Dan there who freeskis and he's so sick. He was in Wicked, and he's the shit. He's going to be the park manager and they're gunna have like 5 jibs and 1 or 2 jumps, and he knows what he's doing so it could be pretty cool.

You live in Cohasset? I live literally 2 seconds away from Blue Hills, and I'll be skiing it in the week a lot.
 
And last year me and Evan seshed a ton with Dan after Blue Hills closed, he set up a nice 12 foot rail that we seshed for a while.
 
wow im so pumped for this winter then. im still gonna try to go to WV and stuff a lot but having blue hills only like a half an hour away with some jibs and jumps is going to be awesome. and yeah im from cohasset. do you know which run it will be on?
 
sean, you just made my day a whole lot better. im like 10 mins away so as long as we get some decent snowfall, I can see myself spending a good ammount of time there.
 
holy shit im 10 mins too. i joined ski team too for the free pass to blue hills and watchusett and i get to cut lines! hahahaha ski team practice is gonna be so sick just using the park all day 5 days a week
 
haha word up! ski practice is gonna be so much better now. I hope it's up still during race nights, cause it gets boring waiting for your run.

and the dude that lives in cohasset...I live in Duxbury. we should all get together and session sometime
 
im down for ridng together but i snowboard (GASP!) as long as you dont mind. next year look for me on a k2 www snowboard brown pants probably white jacket and a full 5'2" vertical.
 
nah, don't worry about it. I'm probly gonna join ski team with jumister at our school and there's 2 other kids along with me who ski and snowboard so were all like half and half

this winter is gonna be so sick, i can't wait for football to end, fall blows
 
haha ok. i wish our school had a snowboard team or somethign that would be pretty sick. we only have a race team for skiers. i was actually thinking of finding some super old skis and go and bring my snowboard also and only ski for the race. but that would be a problem as i cant ski. it would be funny but thats probably not fair to the team
 
sean...how they gonna pull haveing that at the bottom of big blue when the races and stuff go on? also...do u know if ragged renewed thier contract? cuz last time my mom went to go pick up her check from teaching lessons none of the normal people where there and they woulndt tell her ne thing and were being wicked scetchy...im hoping someone else bought it....i thought i heard a while ago crotched was lookin into gettin it.
 
the state owns it and rents it out in 2 year contracts...whihc is why no one iwll put ne money into it to make it a nice place....which it could be.
 
hey we have ski team meets there too. i dont race i just hang out with my buds and get to ski at blue hills with no lines. i think youre in our league or w/e. were westwood.

bc has a ski team?? i think cohasset has a thing were you can go up with the ski team but since we dont have a snowboard team i could just chill in the park
 
wow i am from pembroke i learned how it ski at blue hills when i was 8...now i live in burlington vt and dont really miss blue hills at all. Bolton is my new blue hills and stowe and jaypeak are the same distance that wachusette used to be.

 
sick ski team is gonna be so beastly this year. i live int he same town as bepo and jumister. anybody know hen blue hills opens?
 
so uhh there was a thread about ragged still owning BH. is this true? and do you thin it will affect the park situation?
