Park Advice

I did a couple searches but didn't come up with much. But i'm just getting into park and looking for any tips for rails/boxes/jumps, so let see what you guys got.

As far as I am concerned skiing is just as much about the kid hitting his first box sideways as it is people doing doubles. Help him out.

if youre just learning rails/boxes, try finding a huge butter box and just creep onto it and try and get sideways. youll look like a gaper but who gives a shit. then just try hitting it with a tiny bit of speed and work from there

you gotta grip that box with your front ski. try it on a nice flat box and go pretty slow at first. tilt the front ski so your tip is up and your edge is in contact where the top of the box meets the side. youll soon notice that you start moving in the other direction. the just lift up that front ski and continue that rotation. its something that youll have to practice before you get it but once you do youll be able to do it off anything!

make sure when you're trying to 270 out to get on the rail first. if you think too much about spinning out, you could screw up something easy just getting your 90 onto the box or rail. so make sure you pop, get your full 90 degrees on, and then worry about spinning out.
