I was in my room and my mom comes in, pointing to a picture of a candide on the Mammoth Wall ride, she proceeds to say, 'why is that man playing on a pink wall.' I was utterly shocked and embarrassed, what stupid things have your parents said concerning our sport

 
hahaha, i actually just laughed out loud. My mom came in when I was watching Happy Dayz last year and said 'you know, the skiing would be beautiful if it weren't for the awful music. Like opera in the background' I smiled and said 'thanks mom'

my mom knew i skied, but never understood what 'terrain park' really meant. Well i brought my GL1 back home one day and she walked by the TV while i was reviewing my footage. she was like 'THATS the stuff you do on your skis?!' i said yeah. she says 'Well if i ever see you going upside down i'll break your leg and you'll have to tape all season from a wheelchair!' lol

My dad knows all about it and thinks it's cool, but dangerous. whatever...'calcuated risks' i call it.

my dad met tanner and thought he was a good kid and a good role model. he didnt believe me that he smoked like a chimney. same thing with dave chrition, henrick, simon, and steele. i was like dad thats a part of their life, and he was like, no thers no way that those guys are that good and smoke. im like thats why there good. tanner signed my dads jacket realy big, it was funny, and he thinks dc is the coolest guy on the face of the earth, because he was cool to him. but i like dc so im not disagreeing.

One day a couple of my friends and I were chillen at my place watchin a movie of us in the park. So my mom walks downstairs during a scence of me skiing and says ' that skiers gonna die soon and I dont care' I was like mom thats is me. She just walked away.

my dad had to drive me and my brother to an urban rail last weekend. he fliped. 'you can't do it because its destroying public property, and you guys think ur being cool and no one really gives a damn. i hope u hurt urself.' its the first time that hes ever gotten pissed about me doing something on skis.
