Parents totally against buying me clothes for skiing, +karma for help!!!

K so basically my parents said taht they wouldn't buy me any xl or xxl ski stuff saying that it looks stupid and i don't need it, even though i've grown out of the stuff and i do need some new things

basically i need some ideas that might make her think about buying me some balla shit,

yea btw im 6'4 , so xxl isn't super big on me...
 
Go online show them what you like, tell them you will get a medium (or go to a store) then ask them to do something or once they leave switch it out or switch size to what ever size desired.

How old are you anyway?
 
this is what i was thinking. or you could just rant about being who you are and not letting the man get you down right to expression and such
 
tell them bigger cloths keep you warmer, prevent the use of weed.

Who the fuck knows how that makes sense, but they might figure you'e already high and wonder how much worse it could be.
 
I can't ever remember my parents buying me anything after I turned...actually it was about my 16th birthday. Seriously man figure it out.

when i was ordering some new stuff my mom said I could only get L. but i just placed the order for xxl and im very happy
 
if i even asked my parents for ski clothes they'd laugh at me and make fun of me. i buy all my shit with my money, the only things my parents will buy me are race things and one pair of skis when i either trash or way outgrow my old ones
 
say it fits you perfect.

if not than find a nice guy that's workin in that shop and ask him to say your parents that that model should look like that and that that clothes is made to look like that

yea im getting a job already, two actually,

this is like for christmas stuff, like my present would be a new jacket or something

oh and yea my parents still buy me shit haha, cept not really seeing as there not even paying for my skiing this year, that's what the job is for passes and if i have extra clothing of some sort.

my freestyle team here is 800 and there not paying a penny of it
 
i dont know why everyone is all telling him to get a job. if his parents buy him shit thats great. what do you care?

I wish my parents would buy me shit.

although I had to start buying my own outerwear before 16 if I was going to get what I actually wanted.

Tell them that it's a newschool thing. tell them that the reason you get it so big is that it hides your body movements and makes you look smoother. Tell them you don't want your ass to get cold because you are tall as fuck, and tell them that you are the one wearing it so it's not their problem if they think you look goofy in it.

If XXL wasn't made for really tall people, who is it made for? It's wider, but everything is wider than it needs to be
 
tell your parents that its not what they want you to wear, its what you would like to wear, and if not that then tell them that your not 6 anymore and that you need bigger clothes
 
baggier clothes actually do keep you warmer because they have more "dead air" which insulates you and makes your body heat keep you warm much better.

i was in the same boat as you, they bought my jacket and i bought the pants both xl but it took lots of convincing
 
tell us the pants/jackets that you want and then someone write a review about them saying that the bigger the better

more functionality,better movement, more warmth

im in the same perdiciment just its not that my parents wont get me them, they are to broke to so i got a job and bought them and they like to remind me ( almost everyday) about how goofy and stupid i will lookso i respond with whatever your just mad that i looke thugnificant
 
write a review on the jacket you want, and say that they fit at least two sizes smaller than they say.

so then you could be like, if i need a large then i should get a xxl

I dont mean to be the devils advocate and I dont know if it has already been posted but have you ever thought of getting a job and paying for you own stuff. It seems like you bitching about mom not loving you any more...and it may not be true but a lot of this website does have to pay for their own equiment ...

SO QUIT CRYING....

I dunno orage sizing. I'd get the measurements from saga and measure yourself, that's the only way to really know how big it'll bee.
 
get a job, TJ max. Buy anything you want for prices that are incredibly cheap. Or just go to walmart and buy xxl white T's and generic sweatshirts.
 
My parents werekinda the same way. I got a job. Then i got a debt card. Then i ordered my XL Saga without telling them haha. Only thing is i sent it back so it was kinda a fail lol.

Saga L will be fine. My mate just bought a suit in their sale. He's 6ft3 and he says it's nice and baggy. Similar to an Oakley XL.

plus if you search for saga sizing threads in gear talk there are loads of threads complete with pictures of people wearing their steeze.
 
Tell them skiing is your anti- drug and with out the proper clothing you won't ski which will lead you staight onto the path of a black tar heroine addict.

Thats how i got my new skis! : )
