Parents that ski

I'm a dad and I only ride twins. Too bad for the kid. No twins that small, but I'm workin' on it. Prolly have to do some mods.

both my parrents ski, my mom sucks on skis even after about 10 years of it, but my dad's pretty good, especially considdering he's 55, he's a ski patroller though, which has its pros and cons for me.

my dad used to rip it up on like 255s but then he tore all the legiments in his ankle, twice sooo now he only skis once or twice a year when we go to whis

My old man is a patroller at the local mountains and an old FDNY guy. He's pretty darn good, but not in the shred gnar sense, but in the sense that hes a real technical skier with perfect form and all that. Almost died on an FDNY job and had to go through brain surgery, so now he just wears this big-ass giro gnar.

my dad skis last year k2's i forget the name, but they arent twins.

but he is a good ass skier he can basically keep up with me on the slopes, but he broke his back a long time ago so he cant ski for a whole day....

my father despises skiing and constantly reminds me of the fact that i am far too poor for that "old money" sport... i did see this little girl once though.. and her dad had k2 silencers 07, her mom had k2 missdemeanors also 07, and the little tyke had k2....whatever the almost twin tip is for the kiddies...they also had matching helmets with those spike things coming out the top.. girls had pink and papa had blue they were quite the little k2 bunch.. i only wish i had that luck.

My father used to be a really good skier but hasnt been balls to the wall for years due to him being a stock broker and cannot afford to be off his feet for any amount of time. My mom on the other hand, skied with donna weinbreck everyday when she was younger. For any of you who are really young, donna won the gold in the olympic mogul freestyle. But a few years ago she broke her ankle, tibia, and fibula in an unrelated fall so she isw pretty much starting over.

my mom was in the olympics for figure skating.. and she came skiing with me once and her first time she ripped pretty hard. like a pure natural

oh and did i mention my mom went to thw water ramps for a few days and hit the single it was pretty sweet and funny at the same time

my dad had the grey darksides, since i got them for him for $100 when line used to sell demos on their site, and he now has fischer rius that i got him for x-mas since his lines have become too floppy after 4+ years of use.

my pops taught me how to ski taught me everything i knew up until twintips arrived then he started ripping on me for hitting rails and jumps but i just ignore it and ski the steeps with him

my dad throws down some gnarly spreads. and my mom used to do ski-ballet. she taught me how to do some 'different' butters

I sold my girls dad a pair of 185 ARV's and he loves them, they are the softest and fatest pair of skis he's ever had and now he dosn't know what to do with all his old skis and this guys been skiing forever, '70s Vail ski bum like three years after Vail opened,

older dudes are loving the soft twin, keep encourageing them to go for it!

my dad rides the legend pros. they dont have much tail but hes 49 and he throws down the pencil 180s.

pfff my dad wont even ski with us and he always says our skis are tiny cause there not like 210 cm long and that we could never ride skis that long... but yet i ride 185s and i have a pair of old K2s that are 204 but yea i wish he'd ski with us on some of my twins that be saweet, a few of my friends dad's ski twins

this thread is depressing.. my father detests skiing and detests the fact that i ski,\ he says im too poor to ski
