how many ppl has this happened too. just had the most fucking akkward conversation with my dad and i guess he was kinda chill but still a shitty situation.
it wasn't even my fault.. super gay. my friend got caught blazing at school this last quarter. suspended for two weeks. and i guess recently his dad talked to my parents and told them i'd been hanging out with this kid a bunch so they realized i'd been smoking too.
they just talked to me and it was super weird. cause now my parents know i blaze and its not even my fault. they were chill i guess. just told me to stop. or tell them when i blaze hoping its not too frequent. but its just so fucking weird cause my parents know. wow. shitty.
 
ya that sorta sucks, but at the same time, at least now you dont have to worry about being caught by them

on a side note, the title to this thread made no sense at all
 
yea i kinda fucked the title. meant to say. parents found out your blazing. i guess its true though. better than getting caught. but nice if they're completely oblivious in the first place.
 
dude, you didn't get in trouble at all. like, i don't smoke, but if i did and was caught, my parents would basically end all my activities. i wouldn't be able to hang out with friends, ski or anything. ur parents just told you to stop, or to do it less frequently. in my book you got off WAY easy
 
its only draw....just be cool with them about it. Personally, i told my mum i blazed. I would rather her now then do it behind her back.
 
thats what happened to my friend tyler. but when his dad talked to him he busted out some of the best shit in town and they blazed for an hour. lol his dad is super chill, i wish he was my dad
 
If they bring it up again, which knowing parents they will, try to be educated on the subject. Don't just go into the conversation and say, "I'll do what I want."

If you truthfully give you the pros and cons of smoking marijuana most parents will not go ape shit. My parents were actually kind of proud of me when I told them I smoke but don't drink. They understood I took a lot of time to do research on the subject and make a responsible, educated decision.
 
if my parents walked in on me smoking it would be so hard for me to have a serious conversation with them high haha
 
Haha yeah, I forgot to mention in my post that I told all this to my parents when I wasn't high. When they walked in on my smoking I just looked at them and kept laughing. hahah
 
My parents don't care what I do, as long as I don't get caught, or get bad grades. They did it too when they were my age, they just don't want me to do it around them.
 
when i got busted, my parents smashed my bong that i had for about one week. then i had to have the talk while i was still baked. that did not go well
 
I dont smoke pot but one of my friends was in that position and what he did that worked so well was about a week after that when he wasnt high or didnt smoke that day told his parents that he smoked pot like an hour or half an hour earlier that day. That way they saw him when they thought he was high acting normal and started to trust him more because they could see he was responsible about it. This works out well too because if your parents were trying to trick you and want to rip into you for doing that you can rip into them, tell them it was all an act and that you arent on drugs or anything but now you cant trust them either because they dont trust you. Plus who would ever call out their kids on not being high when they said they were. Why would someone lie like that?
 
i had a long conversation with them yesterday and i actually brought up the point that i smoke but dont drink and that had no impact. i guess they consider them both equally bad which is pretty ridiculous. the biggest worry my parents have was addiction which isn't really a problem. i did get off easy, there's no denying that, but this whole situation was just so uncalled for that its kinda frustrating. its gonna get brought up again, and i could say im fairly educated on the subject, but all in all after this ima smoke less. my parents are pretty concerned about trust. so if they caught me lying to them. i'd be fucked.
 
Theres this kid in school whos dad is like... what we can say a major pot head. His name is Barry and all the kids hang out with this guy more than his son in their grade. The guy literally picks these kids up from school ( 7 or 8 at a time ) and they all go to his house and burn. Thats kinda wierd i think
 
same exact thing happened to me with my mom, my dad flipped out, but my mom was chill. she said she used to do it, just that she doesnt want me lying to her.
 
yeah i remember how shitty that was the first time my parents found out i smoked. they hated on smoking so bad while i was in highschool. since then i've gone to college, now i'm home for the summer and its pretty funny. i've proved to them that i can smoke pot on a regular basis, hold down a job, and maintain a 3.5 in college, so now they really can't tell me that smoking pot is bad. my dad found my roor the other day because i left it out, and i was like listen dad your not about to take that piece i dropped 150 of my money on, he just laughed and said dont burn down my house.

My parents know that I and my two younger brothers smoke.

They are semi-ok with the fact that I do it since I don't smoke cigs and stopped drinking a lot after I graduated from college.

But when I was your age they would not have been so understanding....
 
my parents found out when my dad gave me 100 bucks for good grades and it was gone the next day. they dont really care though. it kinda wierd cause they wont talk to me about it, (i think its cause my dad knows ill call him a hypocrite) they just make subtle comments and jokes.

every time I read a thread like this im so happy to have the parents I have,

I dont smoke pot but I chat with my mom about it as a joke alot.

I know shed be totally fine with it if I started, but she wouldn't let me spend money on it, shed make me grow my own.
 
the first time my parents actually knew i was a fiend for the ganja was from a police offer calling my house and telling them that he confiscated 5 grams of headies from me.. thank god i wasn't arrested, had a scale / grinder / bowl in the car that they never found. pretty shitty too.. first night of february vacation, had to drive 4 hours to sunday river the next morning with my parents too.
 
My parents are sooo naive about me smoking. But the reason is because i get good grades, and i have supreme dinner table manners. Fools would never know...
 
they were mostly pissed that i came that close to getting arrested, that was like 6 months ago and they haven't caught me since but i've come home smelling like gunja a lot and they don't care.
 
my mom found a tin that had a bowl a dub sack adn some papers and i got grounded for 2 weeks, and havent smoeked weed since then, just chillan with the cigars.

dude, we ski at the same hill. Start pretending to smoke and start growing, then bring the goods up for mad seshes.
 
ok, i had like a simialr convo with my older brother

hes 18 and im thirteen

my friend was a t a party and my bro hapened to be there too, they started talking, and he ended up telling my bro i smoked occasionally. So my brother doesnt ell me about it, a week later or so its my birthday and he says he got me a really cool gift, turns out he bought himself two pipes and told me i could pick either one, i take one and now he knows, but im not sure if hes gonna tell my mom

my question is:

should i ask him if he wants to get high? or would that be not ummm smart?
 
if he bought u a pipe i doubt hes gonna tell your mom, and since hes way older than u just do your own thing and let him ask u to blaze with him
 
damn dude 13? thass like 7th grade, mabye you shouldnt be smoking. but your bros mad chiill fordoing that.

on a side note, i just found out my sister whos 15 and going into 10th grade smokes its amd weird
