Parents and skiing.

OP Just next time the start talking shit about skiing just yell at them and say its what u love to do and yell at them for not supporting you and then if they still don't support you then they can shove it. No parent should stop their kid from chasing dreams and doing what they love

I only skied once a year since grade 4. Parents weren't outdoor people so they just flat out refused to support anything to do with outdoor activities. I could not afford to buy my first pair of skis until I was 21, and literally pulled off my first 180 last season (I'm 23).

At the end of the day, I'm obsessed with skiing and I've positioned myself in my life so that I can get in as many ski days as I can. At this point I don't care how long it takes before I do my first 360, backflip or whatever. Better late than never and where there's a will there's a way as the old saying goes.

Just keep on keeping on. No use being jelly of other people circumstances :p
