Parents and freestyle skiing

Just start smoking and then tell them you'll quit if you can keep skiing hard.

(I suggest extra lites).
 
Mine are really chill about it, but my dad dosnt grasp the concept of rails, hes like why fuck up perfectly good bases, I'm like meh its sick.
 
my parents laugh if i fall, they don't want me flipping though, but its cool cause i'm too much of a pussy anyway.
 
That sucks, my dad is like my coach and filmer, but if you do well in school(That always keeps my parents happy), then they shouldn't give a crap that you love to ski, and could support you

My parents are always like be safe... just tell em nothing is safe like your house could blow over when your in it and you would die just use something stupid like that and tell em life isnt safe they'll shut the fuck up
 
My moms cool with it and supports me. My dad...can be an ass. He always finds an excuse to not let me go skiing. Im in a big ass fight with him right now about it. He wants me to end season about 3 or 4 weeks early.
 
yeah ok legitimate concern, but dude you posted this on fucking NS do you expect people to say "you should respect your parents and stop freestlye skiing right away"
 
my mom thinks it's the dumb and waste of time, and she doesn't like my style at all. she thinks i should wear spyder one-piece suits and do blues all day.

my dad on the other hand loves what i am doing.
 
my parents think skiing is a waste of time and money, thus, have no support for it and have never even see me ski execpt for in my backyard. which i don't get cause when they were my age (16) their parents brought them on ski trips to vermont ect. but on well, F-them.
 
that sucks man. my dad is soo stoked about it. he was watching a big air comp and didnt really know what a cork was when i told him. i a cork 9 and when i went over to him he was like "YEA NICK THAT WAS SOOO COOL!!!"
 
start paying for your own equipment, that will shut them up. and if it doesnt, tell your parents to stop living through you, there are many worse things than skiing, and im sure your parents have allready done most of them
 
tell em its your life dude. They must be super strict though cuz mine are pretty stupid strict but dont really care about my freeskiing

failure is the only thing in the way of progression
 
thats really gay. my lady friends mom thinks its sexy that i'm a freestyle skier. my mom doesn't know i left the bunny slope.
