I didnt go up today cuz the brake on my park skis broke off last season and ive been too lazy to replace it. Anybody that went up today? How was is it? Worth the trip or wait until more stuff is open?
just got back from it. right side line is down box to down rail, middle is down rail to donkey dick mellow down rail, left is so crappy little up flat box. you really shouldnt need brakes for that park, not like your ski is gonna go far if it starts to slide.
ye i know, its just when the whole thing fell out, i can still ride them, but the heel doesnt have anything to rest on, and the boot is really loose in the binding, im sure if i really wanted to i could do it just fine though
and the park thankfully got redone. very fun. left side is down box then pontoon, middle is down handrail then donkey dick mellow down handrail, right side is tap feature then down/flat handrail. one of the better jib park setups in the past few seasons.
you are wrong. i was greasion it first day, second day fell on first 2 hits causxe i stuck. bucked my back first, then fucked my shoulder second. pumped
I'm not a fan of Grouse. Aside from all the drama here on newschoolers, my real qualms with the mountain have always been the management (or mismanagement) of the mountain, and watching it slowly become a bigger tourist trap.
That said, this is one of the first years I wish I'd actually gotten a Y2Play pass. I live less than a 3 minute bus ride up to the tram, but it's still cheaper for me to drive my truck to Whistler and ride then it is for me to buy a day ticket.
will be shredding first thing tomo morning till prob around 1ish or so. If anyone wants someone to ride with (or a ride up the mountain if they are on the shore) i'm gunna be heading up
