Parachute possibly belonging to D.B Cooper found

yeah, i saw that too. the cnn article said that if this turns out to be legit, it throws off the reasoning they had for that bag of money that was found a while back.

it would be cool if they would pardon him so that he could come out and tell the story. i'm not advocating what he did, but i can't think of another way he could (or would) come out of hiding (assuming he is still alive) to tell the whole story.

 
I agree, it's always fascinated me. It would be really cool to have closure to this story. Imagine being the children, able to say that you found D.B. Coopers parachute. Baller.
 
i just read the whole thing on wikipedia about him and its honestly the craziest thing ever. They have found hardly anything in 37 years. If he got away, he accomplished the perfect crime. Its so amazing

 
if he did survive, that is really the perfect, but most insane crime ever. He pulled it off so well even if he did die after the jump.

Its also kind of funny to read the stories of those who tried to mimic this, and for the most part failed miserably. I recall reading one a long time ago about a guy who did the same thing, only they never actually properly packed his parachutes, so out he went, basically without a chute. T
